Just wanted to vent about the placeholder spring break blackout dates. Seriously! I get a maiden voyage being blacked out but this stung a little today…. Thanks for listening

I guess that helps with your decision making. Maybe it’s a blessing keeping you from that chaos. Otherwise, yes a bummer.

Business-wise, no need to lure guests in with a discount during a highly-booked time. That discount is there for them - not us.

Spring break schedules vary from place to place. What Disney usually blocks is Easter.

Do you know what the extent of the blackout is?
Scott has the list on his page. They can vary a little from year to year, but generally Include Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. The upcoming list also includes the first two visits to Lighthouse Point, one on the Magic and one on the Fantasy.

It did and you know what I’m at peace with it. We are doing the same cruise just next summer and it goes to lighthouse point. Also got the stateroom we love.
