sigh.

I know I have posted this like twice before....but this waiting to hear from my WC is unbearable!!! How did all of you manage to not go crazy?

First I was told 1-2 weeks after they received my contract....then I was told by the end of this week (which would be more than 2 weeks, so I'm thinking well, that's really 2-3 weeks). And I know someone responded to my previous post that they heard from someone in like 2-3 weeks...both my DF and my SIL have told me to just wait it out and relax...

To be honest with you all, I don't know what my problem is about this! Sometimes I'm just a dork!::yes::

Thanks all...just had to vent for a second...thanks for bearing with me! :thanks:

Lori

Wow, that is difficult. Have you emailed or called your sales coordinator?

I believe I heard from my planner within a few days of sending in my contract. When I saw the 407 number I thought is was my sales person but it was my planner.

I now need a new planner since we changed our date and that will probably drive me crazy as I have already spent months tormenting my planner lol! I hope I get along with the new one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you think this is hard you (like me) will have a horrible time waiting for your budget to come in. I am still awe struck that I have to wait 6-8 weeks to find out how much we are really going to have to pay for the wedding. I am dying here trying to figure out how much everything is.

Yep, I actually called and e-mailed...(well, I e-mailed first like last week and that's when I was told by the end of this week) and yesterday I was home sick from work, so just thought I'd call to see what was up. When I asked the person who answered the phone how long I needed to wait to hear from my WC she looked me up and told me that Doreen was my WC. I said, "oh, Doreen was my Sales Planner as well", so she transfered me to Doreen who in turn told me she was not my coordinator and I would be hearing from my WC...when I pressed for an answer as to if it would be by the end of the week, she said "yes"...so that whole conversation was a bit weird...I don't want to make a pain of myself, but seriously, they shouldn't say a week or 2 if it ends up being closer to 3 or more...hence my frustration...

I don't want them to flag my file with some sort of "Bridezilla" flag, because I am in no way normally a very demanding person...honest.

I am really surprised about the whole taking 3 weeks to get back to you. They got back to me really quickly. Don't worry they will get back with you. Also don't let them make you feel bad about wanting to know who your planner is. You are the one paying them, you simply want some information, you aren't really asking that much.

sigh.

I had a similar situation. They told me I'd get a call in a week, then a week went by without a phone call. I just stayed on top of it and kept calling. I'm sure I annoyed them, but it worked!! Good luck!!

What I think I will probably do next is if I don't hear anything by the end of business day tomorrow, I will call again on Monday or Tuesday (which will be 3weeks)...I'll just have to be a little more...."pro-active" shall we say.

I will most likely end up saying something about how it's been 3 weeks and I was told 1-2 weeks. I know I have almost a year until my date but still they shouldn't tell you something if they can't keep to their normal procedure..

now that I've heard from a few of you, I'm actually a bit more worried learning that you all seem a bit concerned as well and some of you heard back so fast!

sigh and aargh!

Lori

I hope I'm not going to have to chase my signed contract/AP vouchers/info packet as well!!! That would really stink!! (I'll just keep thinking positive thoughts....)
