I think its the DIS's fault!!

But I need to book a DLP trip.......

I just made a £3k bonus this month and can't save it ALL........x-mas trip?

I don;t have any more paid holiday time at work, so can only get away with one day off, so I'm thinking Sat-Mon in November. See all the x-massy stuff.

What are crowds like?

Is there a huge difference between the beginning and end?

I might be off to read November TRs!!

I suffer from DLP seperation anxiety everyday so hun i feel your pain.

Never been in November, just as far as i know that on the weekends in November Fantullison is on. I'm also assuming it could be rather busy if you went on the weekend, though not sure.

Im sure someone who has been in Nov can assist you :)

Does your company not operate a flexi-time system? Like, couldn't you work some extra hours and build them to make a days holiday?

Just a thought. Another is that you could maybe take an extra day as unpaid leave?

These are both things Robert does to get enough time for us to go to DLRP........

Either way, hope you get to go!! :goodvibes

We went in November and found it great without the December crowds :)

Awesome - was that over a weekend?

It's 3 for 2 nights in november - so I'm thinking get there late friday night, then have sat, sun, and back monday evening.

Wish you could get 2 for 1.

We have done DLP twice around the 24th November as it is DDs birthday - the parks have been very managable (especially in the mornings ;) ) The Chrismas season is well worth seeing and if it is very cold just wrap up warm :)

Excellent news :)

Now I have to wait till bedtime and pretend I'm forlorn (which I kind of am)...and mention the 3 for 2 and the xmas celebrations!

Yay!

Don't want to put a dampener on things Torsie, but we did the weekend of the 26th November last year and it was awful. The crowds were manic and it was so disappointing because everyone else who went midweek around the same time came back saying how manageable it was.
Maybe an earlier weekend in November would be a better option. :)

We've been loads of times in November. Weekends definitely busier, even earlier in the month, but manageable. Weekdays are really quite quiet so if there is ANY way you can try to arrange it to get more week day time then I would do so. I was a bit limited on holiday for our nov trip this year, so we are travelling out late on Wed (after work) into Paris, one night in paris, arrive DLH early Thurs, so then we get all of thurs through to Sunday lunchtime in the parks for 2 days holiday. Not sure how you might do it with just one day off but if you have the dosh to spare I'd seriously think about travelling late on Thurs and arrive there early Friday. Or, (whispers...) unpaid leave? I'd do it for a DLP trip!!

Although having said that, I see you plan Sat-Mon, which in a way is good as Monday crowds are better than Fridays. Travel late Fri arrive really early Sat?

We'll be there 13th - 16th, in the DLH, the 3/2 for once applies to the DLH so I am dead chuffed with that. We're usually there around that time - when we went later in Nov a couple of years ago I did notice it was busier.

Good luck with your forlornness! I think you'll find a good cure is a 3 night stay at DLRP....
