I am thankful for the people I work with on my current project. We can be honest, snarky and inappropriately funny with each other as we navigate the twists and turns.

I am also thankful that my hairdresser is only in town every six weeks or so, because if she was here all the time I would have had her chop my hair off last week. As it is my next appt isn't until November, so I'm still on track with growing it out.

Forrest fire smoke has settled into the area, so the 43% chance of rain this evening is greatly appreciated. No big plans yet for the weekend, I'll have to give that some thought today. Oh, I forgot to mention... on my whale watching cruise last weekend we saw Humpbacks, a Grey Whale (really rare for this time of year) and a small group of Orcas, it was really quite special.

Tomorrow the Saturday fall chaos officially begins, haircuts for DH and DS12, soccer reffing, a birthday party. Then work and a bridal shower for me Sunday. Next weekend is similar…lather rinse repeat. At some point I have to break down the garden which was a serious bust this year. Kids are already passing around the first cold of the school year…must be a new record for us in how quick it hit!

Noticed we still have two weeks left to fill for hosts this month and we are kind of short on participants. I can take a second week the of the 22nd if someone else can do the last week
