Seralago hotel

Has anyone stayed at this hotel before that can give me any info on it as far as is it clean and all. We will be staying there because we will have one extra night on Sunday then head over to POP for the rest of our trip was a last minute thing we had to come up .

I haven't stayed there. but it gets good reviews from this site.

It was the Holiday Inn & Suites Maingate East.

Actually friends of mine stayed there over the Memorial Day holiday and didn't like it at all. She said it was like a 2 star range and she actually said she saw a cockroach in her bag and the hotel manager gave her a free meal Now she says she knows the difference between a cockroach and a waterbug too !!

lots of posters from the North say that.

Florida has insects - lots and lots of them - they also have snakes, alligators, and other things that don't do well up North.

WDW sprays (despite what they say) constantly. Off site doesn't. Even in a great hotel you might have a bug - this is Florida.

the water bugs (and yes they are another from of roaches) are BIG and I mean BIG - they live outside but they will come in to an open door or window to eat your food. they are very, very hard to avoid and even harder to kill. Since unlike most roaches they don't live in the building. they live outside.

sorry but Florida is a tropical area and will have bugs.

unless a place has rats or mouses - I will stay there. the rats and mouses can be killed quickly - this is just bad management. But to get rid of the water bugs - well you would need to move FLorida to the north. Sorry!!!!

We stayed there 4 nights in April. We absolutely loved it.The place was very clean the staff was excellent.The rooms were excellent.We have two boys 2yo and 10yo,they didn't want to leave.I didn't really care for the restaraunt on property but there were places to eat near by.It had two big pools with jacuzzi and kiddie pools.You won't be dissappointed.About the bug situation,I did not see any.But is not rare to see roaches even in 5 star hotels in Florida.

Thanks for all the info we live in TN so we know a little about bugs better than the rats we saw when we were in a very expensive hotel in the bahammas. We leave Friday so we are very excited about going again thanks for all the info
