Have finally booked our trip staying in a Montana lakeside room from 15th to 18th January and I have a couple of questions.
I have requested a room as high as possible as I know that the fireworks are taking place on Lake Disney and hopefully we can watch them from the comfort of our room!I read somewhere that most of the rooms views are obscured by the trees-is this correct?
Also,will I need to make reservations of either of the restaurants even though it is the quiet season,and am I correct in thinking that neither opens for lunch?
When I booked our trip,I was unable to arrange eurostar transport with the package,the Buffalo Bill show was full on the Thursday and Friday,and Fantasyland Breakfast was full during our entire stay.
It seems that January may not be as quiet as we had hoped!

Probably the best place to watch the fieworks from is the terrace that overlooks the Lake, rather than in any of the rooms. Even from high up, I don't think you get the ideal view and would rather be just outside, but up on the first-floor terrace. I'd be inclined to ask at check-in what the bookings are like for the two restaurants, but you;re right that they're not open for lunch.

hi there

me and my gf went there in oct for the halloween show, had we known it wasnt goin to be much in the park we'd have watched from the balcony in our room

we were on the top floor over looking the lake right on the corner so you could see the parks and disney village

we stayed in the seminole river suite and it was amazing, ill post some pics here as well:

some are from the view of our balcony and some are the hotel room itself
we loved every minute of it, hope you do too

btw id check wots on the menu first before booking, cafe mickey might be better cos its very reasonable and top scran. if you like the continental type food then go for it, tho i do reccomend the brekkys in the morning.
