sequoia lodge shuttles?

Yes there are, although it's also a very easy stroll through the village to the park gates.

yes but it's quicker to walk:goodvibes

Yes, especially as the shuttle buses don't actually take you right to the park entrance - you still have to walk from the bus/train station. I would guess that you only save about half the walking distance and it will take longer particularly as I think the shuttle bus to the SL calls in at the HNY on the way which further slows the journey up.

It would be much quicker to walk to the Parks through the Disney Village than to wait for the bus.

HNY and NPB on one occasion we used it from the SL.

My problem is walking is difficult. I would need to get an ECV to rent for the entire time. We are looking at a May 2015 arrival, after DCL east bound transatlantic cruise.

If we stay at the Disneyland hotel, is there still a lot of walking before I could rent an ECV at the park?

You need to rent an ecv from on a offsite company, disney only has wheelchairs.

In that case DLP has an adapted mini bus you will be able use. It will take you and your party stright to the park.

The reception at the Sequoia Lodge will order the bus for you and CMs at the bus station will call you one when you arrive there on your retrun jouney.

They don't rent ECV at DLP, but there are a number of third party companies that will supply you with one, and it will be waiting in your room, fully charged when you check in.

Think (hope) you mean CMs at City Hall rather than bus station - at least that is what we have done before. You pick it up for the return journey at the park end of the disabled car park (where you will be dropped off too) which is very close to the East park entrance. :goodvibes

You can do either. The CMs at the bus station have radios to call the mini bus for you too.

I never knew that! :)

Best to order it from City Hall in winter and bad weather, not fun standing out in the snow / rain waiting for that mini bus to come along.

Last time we used the service, it was winter and snowing . there was a little snow plough parked in front of the bus which then drove in front of us back to the hotel. Yes it was that bad 5" of snow in about 30mins. But they made sure we got back to the hotel safe and sound.

That is quick! Yes, worth mentioning as we've been there too in heavy snow when the shuttle buses weren't running at all.

The normal hotel shuttle buses had also stopped that day too, as the bus station was empty apart from some taxis and lots of confused guests wondering how to get back to their hotels.

Thank you.
When we get closer I will be asking for companies to call for rental ECV's. The others in my group can walk very well!
