Sequoia Lodge - Fridge and Kettle???

Hi everyone,

We are off to DLP on 6 November with a 7 month old . Do standard rooms come with a fridge and kettle? If not, can you request them??

Just found that my daughter will not drink out of disposable bottles so will now have to take steriliser and wash bottles in bathroom sink so will now need to make up bottles as we sterilise them - sob sob.

I don't remember there being either when stayed in the Bridal suite of the SL.

Which type of bottle do you use at the moment - I know that Avent do a bottle which uses an ordinary teat, but you can use a disposable liner for the milk. And would it be worth packing a case with ready prepared formula? Anyway I'm sure you can hire(?) a kettle, but the fridge might be more of a problem.

Edited to add that I completely forgot about having to sterilise the teat!! (It's been a little while since I had to think about such things!) Having said that, do you still need to sterilise the teat at 7 months - I'm sure I was just plonking them into some hot water by that stage!!

Edited again to add that Avent have now stopped doing the disposable liners, but now do something called the VIA system instead, and you could always sterilise the teats using a cold water steriliser like Milton tablets.

kettles can be hired from concierge not standard.
I'd suggest taking prefilled cartons of formula which can be stored at room temp. this is how we travelled abroad when our dd was smaller and sterilising tabs in a small plastic tub and cold water sterilise.
