The two room types come with all the same facilties (except minibar) and are of the same decor standard and size.

Breakfast
<font size=2>All Sequoia Lodge Hotel packages include breakfast. Breakfast is taken at one of the two hotel restaurant each morning. Upon checking-in you will be asked to pre-book your breakfast seating times. This allows the hotel to try and ensure that the whole 1,011 room occupancy does not arrive for breakfast at the same time. However, many people still find the breakfast experience extremely busy and very crowded. It may be best to avoid the most popular times (8am-9am) or take advantage of the Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast option. This is available for no supplement, but must be reserved in advance.

What is "Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast"?
Guests staying at Disney's Newport Bay Club/Sequoia Lodge/Hotel Cheyenne/Hotel Santa Fe have the option to enter the Disneyland Park one hour before the "official" opening time to enjoy breakfast within the park. This scheme was set up to help reduce the crowding at the hotel restaurants around breakfast time. This choice allows you to enjoy breakfast within one of the Disneyland Park restaurants. As mentioned before, this should be booked in advance, costs no additional fee and is subject to availability. No Disney characters attend the "Good Morning Fantasyland" breakfast.

Suites
Sequoia Lodge has 9 suites, and each comes with the exclusive "VIP FASTPASS" benefits, allowing you to make use of the fastpass facility on attractions in the parks (unlimited). PLEASE NOTE: Sequoia Lodge suites do not come with room service. Honeymoon suites are available for a supplement, with lake views.

Arrival/Departure procedures

Rooms are ready at 3pm on the day of arrival, but if you arrive earlier than this time you can drop off your luggage at the baggage desk and collect your park passes for entry in to the park. An optional Sequoia Lodge Charge Card is available, which allows you to charge gifts, meals, etc. all to your room account. Express check-out is also available. The Sequoia Lodge identity card gives you access to the hotel swimming pool, breakfast and facilities. On the day of departure your room should be vacated by 11am. However, call the front desk if you plan on staying a little longer - usually it is not a problem if you let them know in advance.

Neither can I, Karen!... But I am one of those people: once I start something I just have to hurry up & get it finished! Luckily it doesn't take too long when I use the same "stencil" background code as the other two FAQ threads :)

Excellent work!

Why does every dish in the restaurant seem to have pineapple in it?

Wow Richard - that was superquick!!!! A great bit hearty "thank you" - it looks superb. :sunny: We're staying there for the first time in November and that's given us a really great idea of what awaits us!!! I love the video clip of the exterior and all the virtual tours. Thank you!!! :worship:

Richard
excellent job. If we were being greedy it would be nice to see the other hotels represented Hotel New York, Cheyenne and Santa Fe ;)

Reid

Thanks, that's great! There was some new information there I wasn't aware of. Much appreciated.

I do have one question, though - you mention that there are safes in the rooms. Is this true? I was under the impression that there was just a safe at reception. If there are safes in the rooms, that'll be very handy!

My mistake, Bonnie. Thanks for mentioning this - you are right - there are no safes in the Sequoia Lodge rooms, but just one at reception. I've updated the thread to reflect this!

LOL Reid. I will see what I can do...but this time it really might take me a week or two! :)

Thanks for the positive replies. If anybody has anything to add or has noticed any other mistakes/anything I have missed out, then please, please post away here! :sunny:

Richard - why not ask if anyone else can contribute too?

I don't mind taking on one of them :)

Reid, are you going to volunteer for one after making that bold challenge to Richard? ;)

Great idea, Karen. Take your pick!

Who's next up then?

I've got a big project at work just now, but if you can wait 2 weeks then I'd be happy to take on Hotel Cheyenne :)

Me and my big mouth :rotfl:

Thanks so much Richard - this is another excellent thread!

The only question I have is about the hotel fastpasses. Are they definitely for all hotel guests? I was under the impression that they were just for guests staying at the Disneyland, the New York and on the Admirals Floor at the Newport Bay - but I'm very happy to be wrong about that!!

OOhh! Yes Please confirm on the fastpasses :cool1:
Does this mean All members of the party get 3 passes each?

Becky, I contacted Disney and you are indeed correct. I had read on a website about this (and heard from a neighbour!) and it is not correct anymore :(

This is what I was told -

"The hotel fastpasses were intially available to all guests - regardless of their chosen Disneyland Resort Paris hotel. This proved problematic, as too many people were using the fastpass line - so it has now been restricted to Hotel New York, The Disneyland Hotel & Newport Bay Club (Admiral's Floor).

Apparently it is also mentioned on "page 23 of the Spring/Summer 2005" brochure (I don't have it so cannot check).

Sorry for the confusion :(

Richard.

That's a shame. :sad2: Would have been nice, but I can see how it might overwhelmed the fastpass lines. Still, it's another plus for my beloved Hotel New York!! ;)

It certainly is, Becky :) Come to think of it, how would you like to do a Hotel New York FAQ ?? ;)

Richard :)

I wanted to ask: what is the main benefit of staying in montana room? People have said that it's in the main building as opposed to in an outdoor lodge, but I can't see why that would make it worth charging more for. (I know you can get free upgrades if there is space but travel agents charge more for the montana rooms than standard rooms.) I guess I just don't see why being in an outdoor lodge is any worse than being the in the main building! :)

Any other benefits to a montana room?
