hi guys! I have a quick question. I am planning a trip to Disneyland for the middle of September. My question is, what are the normal hours for the parks for the month? I think dland closes at like 8 and Cali Adv at 6pm. Does that mean they wont be showing WOC??

I think those times are correct for weekdays, it will stay open later on weekends.

They haven't announced what they plan to do re: WOC, but typically they only show Fantasmic! and have fireworks on weekends when the parks are open later, so this will probably be the case with WOC as well.

ya I read his thread before i posted my thread. But Late August and early September is still Summer right? Well at least you can still get the summer deal for the on site hotels. But I'm guessing the hours and shows will be considered low season and only on the weekends will feature WoC. :[

Hi-

I'll be going to DLR late September for our annual Bday trip.
The pay for 3 stay 5 deal ends 9/30 so I had to book 2 different ressies at GCH.

Last year Fantasmic and Fireworks only showed on the weekends in September.
I'm hoping they'll make an exception for WOC, since we're also doing the Halloween party Friday night oct 1

we will also be goin mid oct but during the week. Our AP expire in oct so thats why we are making a double trip lol..im just hoping to see WOC in sept

Just a word of caution... I went last September and both the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain were closed to receive their Halloween overlays. Storybookland and Casey Jr. were also closed for refurbishment, but that probably doesn't happen every year, whereas the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain overlays will.

Halloween season starts early this year so HM and SM will be up and running in holiday mode by Sept. 17. Storybook and Casey Jr. were down for an extended refurb last year so they should be open this year.

I also seem to recall that the SM overlay shouldn't take as long this year now that most of the components are in place.

Yeah, I didn't think that Storybookland and Casey Jr. would be closed this year as well. It was just my experience and it really sucked to have all that closed!

*Something* will be down...there are always refurbs in September. We just don't know what yet. It's part of the low season trade-off!
