Are the September room discounts out yet? If not when will they become available? Thanks!

I am hoping for the same scoop! Anyone know when they historically should be released? It seems late in the month to be waiting.

Only room only last year was AAA which I booked then and just did for the 18-25. Saves 20%. I can still hope for AP rate.

Me, too, but I am beginning to doubt whether they'll give any September discounts this year. We probably would have heard something by now.

:yo-yo: Let's not give up hope on September rates. We moved from AKL to POR to save 800.00 for a weekend trip in Sept. We will not be in our room much and we decided to spend our money elsewhere.

We will not change if codes come out but we may get two rooms instead of all five of us in one room.

So, lets not give up hope!

As many know no AP Discount was offered last year for September, but the Florida resident room-only code for September became available on 7/24/03. Maybe if they release an AP code it will be around the same time...

I'm not sure if you would know this or anyone out there. What were the discounts last year for Sept (Fl resident) ? We're hoping for WL or AKL but might go to any other Deluxe if the codes are really good.

I stayed at Wilderness Lodge Standard Room for $109.00 a night with tax it came to $121.54 When I checked in I was upgraded to Courtyard View, no additional charge...

They also had a Florida Resident Passholders Special for the Animal Kingdom Lodge savannah-view for $169+tax

Hope they release some good codes soon....

I think it's against the rules to post them. I'm not sure! Now I'm wondering if the codes work at all because I've had two people tell me they need other codes... I don't know. All I know is that I didn't have a pin number, but my CM was able to find this discount for me. I don't want to get her in trouble by posting this, and I hope I haven't.

Sherri :)

would love to know code also... we have 2 nites a POFQ W. AAA rate...
would pm, but don't know how... how embarassing!
must go ... 5 yr..old calling mama...:)

I have the 5/2 booked for Sept so I'll be okay if they don't have any codes...BUT if they were to come out with an AP code for September I would consider changing because we are planning on going again next June or July.

If they do release AP codes they need to do it in the next few days, I'm close to my 45 day mark.

There is a code for September/October but it was in a direct mailer and a PIN number is required to use the code.
I've talked to several CMs and each one told me a PIN number is required for the code to be valid and the direct mail offer must be presented at check-in.

Sure wish I had gotten the direct mailer! :(

Can't you still make changes after the 45 day mark?

I believe there is a 100.00 cancellation fee for changes between 44-6 days prior to arrival. 200.00 for changes/cancellation less than 5 days of arrival. Someone else correct me if I'm wrong.

I was under the impression that the 45 day deadline was specific to packages and that room-only reservations gave you until up to 5 days before the arrival date. I'm hoping I understood correctly because I may buy an AP if the rates will save me enough to make it worthwhile but don't know if the codes will come our in time for a 45 day deadline.

I think it used to be that you could only get packages through WDTC-they require a $200 deposit and the balance is due 45 days prior to your arrival date. If you booked a room only reservation through CRO, I think the deposit was one night's rate with the balance due 5 days prior (or I think some were even paying the balance when they checked in).

Not sure if it is still the same.
