We are going to try for the 50's building 4th floor. I want to be facing the lake and be able to see the illuminations at night. I also heard that the 70's are good too. I guess first choice is 50's and then the 70's. I don't think that we will have a problem finding something close to what we want cause I don't think it's going to be too crowded.

Gosh...you sound like me as needing this trip to come fast as we really need it. My youngest was really sick for 3 weeks and the doctors had no clue what was wrong and then she started to get better and I had a misscarriage, and then my grandfather past away. This was all within a month. So about 2 weeks after all that, I said that's it, we are going to Disney to get away from everything. So we are in the same boat on wanting this trip to come. We are down to 18 more days!!!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear that! I can't imagine ahving to go thru all that! We are in the same boat though maybe just a tad different. My DH was hit by an 18 wheeler Jan 04, he has permanent injuries from that. Then later that year we found his company had merged with another and he wasn't going to have a job unless he applied for jobs in other areas. So he ended up getting the job here in NC (same company) well the week we got here his boss informed him that they were still restructuring and he still may not have a job! They were suppose to find out in May and they haven't been told yet! We have also put off having another child until we know what is going on with his job as I am a sahm. Well, we decided with the free dining and all that we just weren't going to put anything else off and we were going on vacation. That is why we originally changed our dates and was only going to go for 4 nites. But the more I thought about it I knew 4 nights wasn't going to be enough and we wouldn't have that joy we normally have at Disney. It was only $200 more to add the 2 extra nights and tickets so I did it. I can't wait for this trip. We are hoping to know something about dh's job next week but no guarantees. Ok, now that I have rambled...LOL

We will go with the 70's if we can't get the 50's as well. Definitely want lakeside. 70's wont be bad because it is close to the pop jets and the playground. My dd3 will never want to come inside! LOL

Since this is our very 1st trip taking our 4 and 7 year old boys, should we request a special room. We did do the prefered room when we booked. Also should we take beach towels for the pool ??? Does anyone know the depths of the pools ??? Any ohther tips would be really GREAT. See you at Disney

I think it really won't matter what section of the 60's your in.(preferred rooms are all in the 60's) If you want to be right in front of the pool, then you could request that or if you want to maybe get a room a little quieter then maybe suggest lakeside.

You won't need to take beach towels to the pool unless you just want to. You can ask mousekeeping for extra towels. I don't know the depths of the pools sorry.

Make sure you walk around the resort and look at all the different icons. It is so much fun and it isn't bad to walk the resort at all.

WOW...I made over 100 posts in 5 days. That has to be a record. back on the 18th of this month I made my 500th post. Well today it looks like I'm making my 600th. I'm so excited.
