I'm leaving next Thursday for a two week stay at Disney. Can anyone let me know what the temperature is like in the evenings? Will we need to pack sweatshirts etc?.... Thank you.

We always go in October and have very rarely needed jumpers, etc. on an evening.

Only time we ever needed a jumper (and jeans) was just after a hurricane when the temperature dropped by around 30 degrees in the evening.

Generally though, its t-shirts and shorts, all round. Or in the case of dressing up for dinner, maybe a dress for yourself.

Before DS started High school we used to go every Oct for half term and 2 weeks before it, never wore anything but shorts and T's.

hi

we went in october a few years ago and me being a cold mortal did have to wear a cardigan in the eves.

regards

We were there last year for last two weeks of October and although daytime temperatures were generally very nice - t shirts/shorts - early mornings and late evenings could be quite chilly. Would definitely recommend something warmer for those times of day. I took a backpack with me to the parks on the colder days to stash these for whenever they were needed.

We've never needed a sweatshirt - just a bl**dy poncho!

we have been around those times and has always been warm in the evenings and have never needed sweat shirts. :) :upsidedow

We're leaving next Saturday for 2 weeks also - so this is useful to know.

Seems like a mix of opinions at the moment, better safe then sorry think we will just take something small to cover our arms if it does get chilly later on. I only like taking a small bag to the parks with me though, so perhaps something that will tie around my waist.

We have been in October now for the last 6 years and are off again in 9 days. We have always found it warm in the evenings and have never needed a cardy or jacket. Restaurants and dinner shows can be a bit chilly with the air conditioning so I always take something then.

Whilst you may not need sweater for walking round etc...please bare in mind how cold the air con is in most of the restaurants....i take one casual zip up just to wear indoors...in saying that it may just be me.

Thanks so much everyone for your advice. I do feel the cold, so I'll be packing something for the evenings just to be on the safe side!!!

was there for two weeks last year leaving UK on 24th september, we were still warm enough in t shirt and shorts and midnight!

I must admit theres been times that even at nearly midnight (MNSSHP one year) that I've been sweating in October !!!!

Although, last year for the first time ever I was a bit nippy in Epcot one evening !!!!

i always take a cardi.......for the Air Con.
