Lucky you! Must be nice peace of mind knowing you've got them already. But I don't think they sell out immediately anyway, do they? I intend to book online/call (anyone know which way is best?) first thing next Tuesday, so fingers crossed I can still get tickets for the date I want.

We have booked everything now, except for MHP and character breakfast. We have decided to book a Vegas show when we get there, and have only booked Alcatraz rather than the whole SF city tour (again, we will wait til we get there and see if we think it's worthwhile or not). We might go to an NHL preseason game as well (but the schedule for Anaheim Ducks hasn't been released yet). We fly out on the day the NBA preseason starts.

:yay: I'm looking forward to booking ours on tuesday for the first party.

Start planning for Christmas 2015 :hyper::hyper::hyper:

:rotfl2: No Disney for us in 2015 :( Actually scrap that, I turn 40 in the July and I want to go to Hawaii to celebrate...Aulani may just have to figure in those plans :thumbsup2

That'll be me on Tuesday morning too Kristin. I may even see if dh can do it if he's up late enough watching the Tour de France. :goodvibes. I'll be booking character meals on the 30th and then the US leg of our trip will have everything booked. Still got to organise a couple of things for the Canada component, but even that's pretty much done. All accommodation except for 2x 2night stays are paid for.

Now it's Wednesday here, we are in the 40s :yay::cheer2::yay:. It doesn't seem that long ago that I was rapt that we'd finally hit the 100 days to go mark.

If you are thinking of any of the BIG Cirque du Soliel shows like O and waiting to for discount tickets you'll probably end up with the lesser Cirque shows or something else, particularly if looking for the weekend. The high demand shows don't show up in the discount ticket outlet

Cola- for say Love and O then do you suggest booking in advance before we leave?

We are thinking either KA or Love, mid-week 7pm show. DH wants to see Penn & Teller too, but we haven't made up our minds about that. And it's not that we are waiting for discount tickets, but it would work out cheaper to use our US money when we are there (which we got when the dollar was high) than buying from here now with the dollar still falling. Though I guess we don't want to miss out altogether so if that is a risk, we may need to re-think our plans.

Hi everyone!

Just checking in to say that my 45th birthday gift from my DH is going to Disneyland. I have to wait till next month to get my flights (eek!) but my DH is sending my DD (14) too! He's staying home to look after the dogs and horse.

We are planning to go next school holidays (tentative US dates 27 Sept to 10 Sept). We hope to make the HTP on 8 Oct. anyone know how quickly an early Oct Tuesday party sells out? I'm not sure when I will have time to actually call to get the tickets!

O has been on since 1999 (or '98?) and last time I was in Vegas in 2011 it still wasn't showing up in the discount booths, KA was fairly new at the time and wasn't showing up either. Criss Angel Believe, Mystere, Love, and Zummanity were showing up mid week in the discount booths, only LOVE wasn't available on the weekend. I think Zarkana will be available at the discount booths, the new Michael Jackson ONE has only just opened, which could mean anything! (the Michael Jackson show is much more detailed than the one touring Australia in Sept apparently)

KA is shut down at the moment while they investigate the death, they haven't indicated how long for yet.

We got Zummanity, Mystere and Lion King tickets from the discount booths the last trip. I think you only got a voucher from the discount booth and then you had to go to the theatre and exchange it for actual tickets, so it was a lot of lining up. (I very clearly remember lining up at the Lion King box office because the queue was HUGE and it was a Sat afternoon performance and a million kids, I'm pretty sure we had to line up at the Cirque show box offices too, though not quite as clear)

Online in advance is MUCH easier and saves you a lot of time.

The Cirque website has offers, www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/promo/summer-las-vegas/default.aspx but those O ticekts are only for a 10pm and lower grade seats. Gives you a good indication of what is available as discounted.
