OMgoodness, look at your ticker!
I am jelly!
Hi, can you add us to the roll call!
Myself, my twin sister and our two littlies who are 2 & 22 months will be arriving from Melbourne to Disneyland Oct 20th-27th possibly staying at PPH.
This is our 5th trip....sooooooo very excited!
We have had the babies made some adorable matching custom disney themed outfits, it's been my dream as a huge disney parks fan to one day take my child and I just cannot believe it's happening! It'd be great to meet up with some other Aussies while we are there too. Xxxx
Welcome AussiedaisySounds like you're in for a fun trip.
My latest addition to my holiday bookings has been a lunch reservation at Mythos in IOA. I had read that Universal's introduction of their meal deal is rumoured to make walk-ins to this restaurant quite a bit harder. It gets good reviews, so I decided to book it.
It's the only reservation I have for that part of my stay. I can't decide if I also want to try and get a 3 broomsticks breakfast booking when I arrive. The atmosphere looks great, but the food looks pretty average.
Has anyway eaten in either Mythos or 3 broomsticks?

I was thinking of walking-up to Mythos. Looks like I might have to reconsider and book as well.
I've eaten at 3 broomsticks....the cottage pie was too salty for my tastes. The salad that DH had was okay. We enjoyed the atmosphere and having a place to sit and really savour frozen butterbeer.
The booking was really easy. All done online and no credit card details needed. If we change our mind I figure I can just cancel.
I've just spent the last half hour filling in my DFAT details for this trip. 10 locations in total - which I had to look up addresses for.
And with the completion of my trip registration details with DFAT, also comes the implication that I've sorted out my travel insurance and all (or nearly all) my accommodation bookings.
The only major thing left......early voting prior to the September travel. Anyone have a crystal ball as to whether we're going to the polls earlier than the 14 September or not?

Oh dear. I have done anything for my Sept trip. What do you have to do with DFAT?
I also read in another thread about getting a letter from my ex with permission for my children to travel. Something I hadn't even thought of but glad I saw it.
Sorting out travel insurance is on my to do list for today. And investigating car hire.
Is there anything else I need to know about or to do - I'm not a seasoned traveller.
I was so excited booking this trip but now it's looming, I'm starting to get really nervous that I wont have done all my prep![]()
You don't HAVE to do anything with DFAT.
But they provide a web service where you can lodge your travel and contact details with them. It's just so that if Australia needs to get in contact with you in the event of an emergency, they know how to find you.

If you're travelling to the US, have you completed your ESTA?
