September/October 2007 Code, Discount and Rates Watch

So....this code FDV or FDZ or whatever....is it just for AP holders? Is there any code for the rest of us? Where do you find these? Did you have to get a post card? argh. You guys will tell us if there are any codes at all - right?

These codes are only for AP holders- not the general public.

Just keep watching the boards- when a general discount code comes out, you'll know it! Also- If you look towards the top right of the page, just Under where it says "Welcome rmom50" there is a link called "discounts" if you click on that- it will take you to a page that updates all codes. When a general public code comes out, I'll betcha it'll be on there as well.

This discount just got released today. BTW, the online (AP) code if FDR.

How do you book online for the AP rate?

OK for those of us that are waiting for rates after Sept. 29th we need to take an oath that the minute any of us gets a whiff of a AP rate coming out to come to this thread and post it so it goes to our email and we can all do the happy dance.

Agreed! My reservation at the Poly starts on Sept 30. I was so excited yesterday until I realized that the dates only covered up to Sept 29 ... why couldn't they have released all of September

I am an AP holder. I just don't know how to do it online.

you go to the disneyworld website and in the upper left area there is a button that says "passholder". Once you click that you will get the sign in page. You sign in with your passholder info and it will give you access to the AP website. Once there choose special (usually the first choice) or there is often an icon on the left that you can click to that says resort discounts. Once there, the rest is the same as the regular disney site. Put in your info and see what comes up. Edit as needed to check different dates and resorts. Good luck!

I did call directly and got a great rate for our August weekend trip and an awesome rate for my birthday trip in September! It was better then the free dining plan!

Yes, please share what you did - we are headed south about a week and a half of your trip and I would love to save a fraction of what you reeled in!!! Last year we lucked up with a code in August and saved close to $1200 total between 11 people - looking for the same luck this year.

The best I could get so far is $736 for 5 nights at CSR for 3 adults Sept 30 through October 5th. That is with my AAA discount.
The fact that my DD turned 18 and we now have to pay the extra adult charge per night really hurts. That's an extra $50 that I forgot to budget for so I could REALLY REALLY use a code.

We just saved $2300 on 3 rooms for 3 nights at the GF with the FL Res. Discount.

Maybe they saved with the FL Discount or the AP one that just came out?
