September/October 2007 Code, Discount and Rates Watch

I'll hope for any kind of discount!!
Oct 13-21st

Also going early/mid December. Any discounts ever offered then?

I have a question...we just booked a trip for the end of September. However, we rented points from a DVC member. If Disney does come out with free dining that month, would we still be able to take advantage of it?? Just curious...would love to get that sort of discount:flower3:

DVC members/people staying on DVC points are not eligible for free dining.

Anyone have any idea of when/if AP rates might come out for Aug/Sept? We need to add a room on to our stay Aug 31-Sept 2. Not really interested in free dining as we already have an AP.

Going from 9/30 till 10/5..staying at ASMu...and for the 1st time...just us 2.

Gotta make this the most magical yet...

C'mon discounts and freebies!!!!:cool1:

Subscribing:)

Eleven of us (all family!) are going Sept. 16-22. Oldest DD and her family of 5 are going back on the bounce-back offer they received in Nov. So, I am hoping for any kind of code or discount or anything!:goodvibes

I think free dining was available even over Labor Day weekend last year but the choices of hotels was more limited. Based on my experience going the Tues-Sun after Labor Day weekend I'd either try to get down to WDW by the Labor Day or even the day before, or wait until the Sunday after Labor Day (we found that Fri-Sat were sort of busy at the parks, probably because of Night of Joy crowds).

Oh dear - we are somewhat experienced Sept. visitors. Really wanted later in the month, but I couldn't pass up the Swan @ $125/nt deal. Unfortunately the dates were limited and Tues after Labor Day til Sun were our only choice! By "sort of crowded" what do you mean? Like "busy for value season" crowded (20 min waits)? Or worse?
I have been during Night of Joy weekend once before, but I was single, so that's a different story. Now it's DH and myself with our 2 yo DD. We are planning AK on Fri, moving to EPCOT-WS in the evening (with EMH). I assume NOJ goers will be at MK that evening. Then on Sat. going back to MK (going 1 1/2 days also earlier in the week). That day I am nervous about. But I don't have a must-do list. We can always shop or go back to the pool. I really hope we won't be sorry about choosing this week. Any advice I can get for that week would be great.
I'd love to just be flexible with a 2 yo and the crowd situation, but making ADRs is next-to-impossible to reconcile with flexibility.

And BTW - We are still hoping for October with free dining at WL instead. But if SWA release flights for Sept on sale (probably soon) then we may be locked in at the Swan. Does anyone recommend reserving rack-rate at WL "just-in-case" since they book up quickly?

My friend and I are going 9/13 - 9/18 for a girls only trip (no kids no dh's). I can't wait. Hoping for a good discount.

I called disney today hoping for a 40% discount but didn't get anything. I was hoping there was a code or pin attached to my name but no.:sad1: Still waiting for free dining I guess.

Just subbing so I can keep an eye out for any discounts and/or hopefully free dining. We're going anyway..but we're hoping for free dining.

I'm learning how all this AP stuff works now. We are going Sept. 27th-Oct. 2nd and was wondering when is the best time to book? I was thinking like June. It just seems lately when I call reservations it seems like everybody is booked or no AP available for the time I need it.

Good evening everyone,
My wife and I are planning our 5th anniversary trip for 10/23-10/30. We got married at Sunset Pointe on 10-29-02. We are leaving the children at home, DD(3) & DS(will be 10 months). We weren't having any luck on WDW site with room choices, so we tried Magical Memories Travel. Have used them 2 Decembers ago for a GREAT rate.
Lori, some how, got us 8 days/7 nights at Poly with Dining and park hopper for 2899.82. That is 1212.82 cheaper then the current rates for that time. I am letting others know so they can try www.************************** to see if they can get a great rate.

Hope everyone has a great planning season,

The Angoffs

Were you able to get Magical Express with them? Anyone else heard of this site. I would love a discount.
