is what mousesavers lists for discounts...so it looks like there is hope...there were general public discounts, package discounts for Disney Visa cardholders and available to anyone.

No, those are last year's dates. It was posted for historical discount information.

I have 10/29-11/5 held at POR. Only a AAA discount, so hoping for a little better!

Stupid question: Did you have to go through your AAA Travel Agent to get the discount? I don't see how I can apply the AAA discount online to either a room quote at Disney's site, and don't see it on AAA's site. THANKS ANYONE!!!!!

You can get the AAA discount through Disney. I made all of my arrangements over the phone with Disney and they gave me the AAA price. I am hoping for something better though!!

Just call Central Reservations and ask them for the AAA discount. It may or may not be available depending on when you are going.

& you must have your card at check in. I've been asked for it and not, but I always have it.

Thanks so much for the info! We were going to go with the Radisson Resort Orlando - Celebration because of the big discount, but it is gone today! I'm hoping to switch to an on-site hotel now after all. That throws in the dilemma of do we rent a car or not, etc. With off-site it was a no-brainer. Now, not so sure................ What is an over-planner to do?!

Now that the speculation for free dining is over, anyone have any idea or heard a "rumor" of discounts for September/October. I'm still hoping that the rest of us not able to get free dining will get some other code.

I'm glad I'm not the only one talking about codes for Oct. I'm going Oct. 6-13 and am hoping for either free DDP or some other type of discount. Was anything offered during this time last year? This is my first time going in Oct.

This is what was offered last year. Hopefully they will not forget about us end of September people, cause we could get FD last year. Free dining last year ended on 9/30 and in 2005 it ended on 10/4, but with Disney being all over the board about discounts, ya never know

We went last Oct 7-14 at the POP. I waited for a code. It came out in Aug. We got the POP at 49.00. I think it ended up saving us $400-450 We are not going again until Oct 2008. My husband is a firefighter and Oct is our fall break so he has to take his turn on fall break, every other year. We loved going in Oct.

Yes you can. I've had ressies before a discount code come out. All I did was called a CM and asked that they apply the code to my existing ressie. It was done without any problems.

BTW, I'm about 2 1/2 to 3 hours from you in Clarksville. Go Tennessee!
