No more double features on Friday and Saturday?

OK - 7:00pm start time in winter and 8:00 in summer...does anyone have experience with the start time in September?

We want to go for the sing-a-long so we want to be sure we don't miss it.

Thanks for the great information....exactly what I was looking for!

BTW, I found out from another thread that September is considered "Summer" and therefore the program starts at 8 pm. Can anyone confirm????

DIS ROCKS!!! :thumbsup2

The movie times change with the time change in October, so yes, September movies start at 8 p.m.

OK, not to get to technical, but when they say the program starts at 8:00, does that mean the campfire sing-a-long or the movie?

We land at 4:30, so by the time we rent a car, drive to OKW & check in, do you think we realistically have time to eat and still make the entire program????

Another post suggested the "Trail's End Buffeteria just before for a nice, non-stressful family dinner" ------ is that located in FW? Any other suggestions for a quick, hassle free dinner would be appreciated!

Good question!!!! We want to be able to see Chip and Dale, but with the princess: princess: I don't want to wait around just because we arrived too early :Pinkbounc

Does anyone know for sure??????

Is there a way to find out if the film on the 19th is the animated Jungle Book from 1967 or the live action version Disney made in 2002?

We had 6 p.m. reservations on 8/4 at the Trails End. We arrived to the restaurant around 6:20 and were seated by 6:25! After the delicious buffet dinner, we went to the little store across the street - shopped for a while - then bought marshmallows, box of graham crackers, & 2 hershey's bars. The cashier told us where to walk to catch the internal bus that took us to the campfire/movie - faster than walking - plus it was hot!

We arrived around 8:30 or 8:45 and the movie (Beauty & the Beast) had already started. We didn't need to see Chip & Dale or do the sing-a-long. We bought 2 skewer/sticks from the little chuckwagon store behind the movie bleachers (about $.50 ea.) We had lots of fun roasting the marshmallows and then making our own smores! We were stuffed after using all the graham crackers and hershey bars. The leftover marshmallows came home with us!

I thought DH would want to go back to the hotel after the smores, but he went and found a seat and watched the movie until the end! It was a good family experience and I recommend it highly!!

The funny thing was that there were no mosquitos! I had bought mosquito spray/wipes and left them in the hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised that we never felt any mosquitos during our entire 9 night stay!!

We drove our rental van to Fort Wilderness so I don't have any resort bus or boat advice - sorry!

The sing-along will start promptly at 8 (or 7) and Chip and Dale will appear within a couple of minutes. The movie will begin at about 8:40 (or 7:40).

Well, I am bummed! What happened to showing Mary Poppins, or Robin Hood, or Dumbo???? :confused3 :guilty:

Does this include Swan/Dolphin guests as well (since they are "onsite", but not owned by Disney? Thanks.

Yes - we stayed at the Swan and went to the Campfire/Movie our first night. As far as I could see, there are NO restrictions as to who can attend. It's free to everyone. No was checking anything. We had a great time and the kids enjoyed it, as did DH and I too! :thumbsup2
