I agree... a plan is needed but not necessarily follow it to a T, at least you have an idea/ skeleton plan what to do when you wake up... I tried to let my sister plan our trip one time and thats it.. she told us to just wing it... we all got tired of saying where we going.. what are we eating for lunch.. dinner... we all end up stressed and tired for just thinking :rotfl2:

Cool, we will also be at CRT for dinner on the 21, our is for 5:45. We will also be at Epcot on the 19th but we are eating at LeCellier that night and MGM on the 20th :)
oh and how funny we will also be driving back to Atlanta on the 24th in the PM :rotfl:

We are going 8/30-9/5. I can't wait-I have been obsessing over this trip since May when DH offered to take me for my 30th b-day!!! Love him!
Here's our plan
8/30
Fly out of NJ early. Tiffany Town Car w/ grocery stop. Check into VWL.
We plan on going to MK for a little while and just playing it by ear. See how tired/ cranky we are from the flight. Definately want to catch the electric water parade--I've NEVER seen it!
8/31
Magic Kingdom!!!!!!
12:55-CRT
Return to VWL for rest (that will be everyday so I'm not going to keep typing it!)
Magic KIngdom!!!!!!!
9/1
Epcot
12:00 Le Cellier
Chase Visa Meet & Greet
Illuminations
9/2
MGM
Spoodles for dinner
9/3
Animal Kingdom
Downtown Disney/ Visit to SSR--we want to see what we just bought!
Father-in-law & wife coming for evening from Tampa-area and staying over.
9/4
8:05-Crystal Palace w/ Pooh!
Finish any attractions still to be done.
9/5
Fly home!!! Sad.

This is our 1st trip w/ DD so we are really trying to take it slow and enjoy the "moments" .

We have, no wait I have, done my very best to NOT GO COMMANDO! My DS (6) and I usually hit everything we want to in the parks and stay from opening to closing, but this time we are going w/my dad and his wife and I WILL actually take time to relax and do things I haven't done yet.....

Sept. 28th Arrive at WDW around 9am (I'm one of the lucky ones I only live 2 1/2hrs away) check in at WL then off to AK to renew parents APs after that NOTHING is planned til we meet a group of Dis'ers at the Illuminations Dessert Party (a surprise for my parents  ) - never been to a dessert party!!!

Sept. 29th - Breakfast at Cindy's - haven't been there since I was my son's age princess:
THEN.....nothing planned til the Cirque du Soliel 6pm show - never done before
maybe we'll swim at the pool, play mini golf, shop at DTD; which I have NEVER done yet  There's never been time in my schedule to swim, shop or play golf

Sept. 30th....NOTHING planned til the MNSSHP and meet up with some of the dis'ers...very excited about meeting everyone, I've never participated in a meet before

Oct. 1st....wow NOTHING planned.......that's the biggest NEW thing....having NOTHING planned. Maybe check out the Food and Wine Festival, lunch and dinner at a new restaurant, swim at the pool

Oct. 2nd.....leaving around 1pm but before that NOTHING PLANNED!

Oh,my it looks like I'm actually on vacation and relaxing. We go to WDW enough that we all know what we like and don't like. For the 1st time I don't feel the need to plan every minute, to make sure we see everything and completely exhaust ourselves only to return home and need another vacation to recover from my WDW vacation.

 Can't wait to meet everyone at the dessert party and the mini meet at MNSSHP

:hourglass Are you there yet???? :hourglass

Patty

My sweetheart, Bill, surprised me with an unexpected trip to celebrate our birthdays. His 62nd birthday will be 09/16 and my 52nd 10/07. Here is what we've decided to do:

September 15 - Arrive at MCO from Oklahoma @ 1:19 PM, take Magical Express to Wilderness Lodge. (I've never stayed in a deluxe resort before). We plan on hopping over to MGM to ride the TOT. This is our absolute favorite ride. We are scheduled for dinner at Cape May Cafe @ 6:30, and then will spend the rest of the evening at Epcot since there are extended hours.

September 16 - Bill's B'day
Magic Kingdom - a.m.
LeCellier for B'day dinner @ 6:10
Will decide after dinner what comes next!

September 17 - Typhoon Lagoon morning/afternoon
Have arranged for rental car @ 4:00 p.m. @ Grosvenor Resort
Dinner at Pacino's on 192. (Bill's favorite restaurant)
Old Town for Saturday Night Cruise. Bill owns a '53 Ford Pick-Up and loves classic cars.

September 18 - Animal Kingdom a.m.
Park hop rest of day to suit whatever sounds best.
Concourse Steakhouse for dinner @ 5:30 p.m.

September 19 - Have a nice breakfast (undecided where) and probably go to Downtown Disney for some shopping before heading to MCO to return home.

I'm so excited, can't wait. We have never been to WDW without any kids. This is the first time for just the two of us in over seven years. :Pinkbounc
