I'd like to be in for 1000 again this month. I did make it last month, but never posted my final. Thanks, CC for hosting in august, and thank you Julie for keeping these challenges up every month. It's so helpful.
I'm at 65/1000. Slow start after vacation, and I though I did a lot of walking in disney, I figured I'd go for the full 1000 from here on out.
Even better than that - I'm here again! And I have my regular log set up!
The bad news is that the knee injections haven't helped as much with my hip problem as the ortho DR thought they would. Back to see him on Tues. I'm afraid hip replacement surgery is not too far in the future for me. Not looking forward to going through that process, but I hope the end result will be worth it.
I'm at 470/1300. I'm behind schedule, but at least I'm here.
Went to my ortho Dr. yesterday and it looks like I am going for hip replacement sooner rather than later. My left hip is bone on bone. No wonder it hurts to do just about anything. Not sure yet when I will be having the surgery, but I'm told that after it's done the only restriction on activity is no running. While I wish I was a runner, that just doesn't seem to be the right activity for me, so I'm fine with sticking with activities I can do and I'll be the cheering section for all you marathoners out there. For now, I'll keep plugging along with whatever I can do.
