I'm checking in. I'll be there from Sept. 2-7 for the Half Marathon Weekend. I'm doing both races and will complete the Coast to Coast challenge.

But the best part of it all is that this will be my first trip back to DL in 30 yrs. The last time I was there, I was 3. I am so excited to get there again finally.

Hey thats my birthday That was the original date we picked to go but then we changed it to the 16th.

My husband and I will be there from September 10-17, we are going to be celebrating my birthday there (Sept. 11th), so I am very excited about that. Had I known ahead that space mountain would be closed during our stay, I think I would have planned a day or two somewhere else though, to get my roller coaster fix. But we pre-paid a 6 day park hopper.

I'm bummed that we're so close, yet so far from the Haunted Mansion Event! We're arriving on the 9th, but not until about 10 o'clock that night!


Still, do you think the Haunted Mansion might be open a liiittle later this year because of that event? I hear it usually closes around the 10th of September every year for the Holiday decor. I would be bummed to miss out on HM on my first trip to DLR, but I do wonder if I still have a chance to catch it...

We'll be at th HoJo too, lol. Really hoping to see some LGMH's!!

As for making a PS at BB, go ahead! You can make PS 60 days in advance and we already have all of ours made (including BB on September 10 which is my birthday). Just call Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE.

I'm about to head out pretty soon, but I will get all the new dates added this afternoon when I get back. BTW anyone interested in doing a meet on the 9th in NOS since it'll be the last day we have to ride HM?

My friend is a SM lover as well so she's silently mourning the loss of that ride while we'll be gone. It's not really my cup of tea. I'm more bummed about the Casey Jr. Train and Storyland Canal Boats myself. I'm sure you'll have a great time regardless though. And a happy early birthday to you! Mine is on the 10th!! I am jealous you'll be getting 6 days in the park! Makes me wish I could take off a whole week from work. I'm totally pushing it with the 5 days we'll be gone and those include our loooong traveling days.

Have fun with the half marathon! I think I would just about die, lol. to you!! I can't imagine how magical it would be to walk down Main St. if I hadn't been there in 30 years!! Even the 2 years between some of my trips make the experience that much better for me.

We are going for a short trip Sep 6-7. Crazy to go Labor Day weekend but Hubby had no more time off. This will be my girl's 2nd trip-1st was when the oldest was 2.5 and the youngest was 5mo. We went to WDW in May and had a blast except for the rain. My little one will turn 3 Sep 1 so we will be celebrating her bday on Sun the 6th during lunch with Ariel. We will stay overnight at PPH.
