I have been checking my Alamo rates for the last few weeks and they keep slowly dropping. I had originally booked an ECONOMY for $250.

I am now getting a FULLSIZE for $97

WOW!!

Here are the rates I found today for the period Sept 9 - Sept 17 using the following codes:

I just recently rebooked my fullsize for $125 and was thrilled thinking it could never go lower than that -- now its down to $97. The scary thing is that more than half of that is in fees!

My rate just went down about $44 since yesterday! My dates are Sept. 19-27. I plugged in these codes yesterday and got $164.63 for an economy. This morning it dropped to $120.39, including all taxes and fees!! YAY! I had to play around with the drop off and pick up times a little to get to this rate, but it was worth the time! Thanks for sharing these codes!

Great rate Keliblue and Pamelasu1! I really wish I could find the great rates some others are.

I just modified my Alamo standard reservation from $215 down to $189.

We will need a car for at least 1 day to drive to Clearwater and I have reserved that for $32 for the day. I really want to went a car for our entire stay because I am concerned about the bus service at POR. I really need some low rates to talk my husband into it.

My Alamo rates went down as well using 7014667 and the Alamo Insiders $40 coupon. I am Sep 10-16 and have a Compact for $51.43 all in. That is $8.57 per day all in!

This is the least expensive car rental I have ever booked. Yippee! I think I might use the money I have saved to extend my vacation by a day.

At these prices, why wouldn't everyone rent a car? Just for the convenience of it all.

I know in the past MCO did not have standard cars so you were given a full-size car. Is this still true? Is there an advantage to booking a full-size instead or a standard? They are just so close in price I thought I would booked a full-size to be sure but...

Woo hoo - finally starting to drop some! I got my two week reservation (September 25 - October 9) down to $326 a few days ago, down to $299 this morning, and I just checked and it's now $273. I'm hoping it will come down even more within the next few weeks.

Used Sunpromo code 7014667 for 20% off and Insiders coupon AD4027JDO for $40 off. This is much better than the $250 I started with when I first booked back in February!

Omg!!!! Thanks for posting about another rate drop. Using the same codes I previously used my fullsize car is down to $79 TOTAL!!!!! We budgeted 200 for the car so this is a nice amount of free Disney cash now!!!!

I just checked rates for 9/17-9/24 and now have a reservation for $160.51 with Alamo. It was $189 last night.

I tried to modify my existing reservation but it still showed the old rate so I had to make a new one. Does anyone know why this happened??

We originally had a midsize with Alamo 9/22 5pm -9/26 8pm for $225.00 (ouch) and am now down to $109.00 with all taxes and fees!
That and the tip about the Hyatt MCO on last minute travel is why I love the disboards!!!

Im glad for you guys but I wish they would extend the dates, I am still at $247 for a midsize for 9/27-10/6. Hopefully next week after the first or at least after labor day they will extend the promo code.

This bordering on ridiculous. My seven day rental from 9/9 to 9/16 is now down to $57.23 of which Alamo is getting $19.49. Used the codes in the post above.

Thanks for the heads up that rates dropped even lower! I just rebooked our Standard size for a week using the codes I listed previously for a grand total of $58.86. ($21.18 for the base rate for the car for a week and $37.68 taxes/fees.)

This is unreal -in a great way! Do you think if I keep checking back, Alamo will be paying us September renters to take a car?!

I dropped from $317 or something, to $220 or something, last night...

Today, when I put it though, it's $255.
