We left Portland, Maine jetport at six am Friday morning.....and had a wonderful flight....the sun was shining....and it was so wonderful.....We arrived at the Orlando Airport at ten fifteen and walked to the luggage area where we were met by Bob from tiffiany Town Car.....what a fun time to see our name at the end of the stairs.....we only had two carryons .....so we proceded to the lot where the beautiful white town car was waiting for us........
We arrived at the Dolphin and were taken back by the beauty of it up close.....we had always seen this magnificiant bld from afar.....
A sweetie named Lynn checked us in and we were on our way to our room......WOW.....what a hotel.....what a room ....what a view....we could see Epcot from our balcony....it was totally awesome to be able to see that......
We unpacked real fast......freshened up and left for Animal Kingdom......the bus that picked us up was there the minute we walked out of the bld.....we went to McD's for a quicky meal....and then proceded to Dinosaur ride and walked right in.....that is my favorite ride......after that my husband talked me into the kali Rapid River Ride.....so off we went.....BUT first I put on my raincoat and took my sneakers and socks off.....it was a total blast..next .....we went to the Safari and I was totally surprised to see all the animals out and about....if I had wanted to, I could of patted the top of a rhino.....but good judgement kept my hands and body inside the truck......after this we ventured to ITs Tough to Be a Bug...as usual ..it was fun to see peoples reactions to this show....secretly laughed at a man that was sitting next to me......ROFl......all these rides were just walk ons......LOVE THIS......
After a quick shower to wake me up.....we decided to walk to Epcot.....oh YAH.....that means a hike....Husband keeps saying to me.....this is not good.......so when we get to the Boardwalk part.....we take that boat to Epcot.....oh well.....I tried......
REMEMBER the tips we always post.....well.....at home in Maine was Dear dumb husbands watch....so we could not tell what time it was .....I decided to buy him a Mickey watch for his birthday......so over to Mousegears for a watch purchase.....Second BIG TIP mistake.....also in Maine were dear dumb hubbies glasses......so I had to look every hour or so and tell him the time......ROFL....it was funny....a thunder storm was looming in the background.....so Test Track was down.....over to Ice cool Station for some good tasting.....something or other........ROFl......I always drink the one that tastes like Apple Cider with a zip to it......we proceded to MEXICO and ate .....geesh......I was so hungry .....I ate the whole thing.....which was a taco salad witht he works.....hubby had a huge burrito ........we stepped out of the restaurant area and watched the Tapestry of Nations......even in the rain.......I love that......we also did the Norway Ride while we were right there.....got us out of the rain.........back to the Hotel.....and Brian and I watched the fireworks from the balcony.......what a joy to watch......as always.......
