A few candles!!!! too. They don't allow naked flames in the cabins ie tea lights or candles.

I was planning on stocking up on some bath and bodyworks candles in my two days in LA before the cruise as we don't have anything like that in New Zealand. Has anyone ever heard of people declaring candles etc and handing them over but getting them back at the end of the cruise?

We booked IGT and just found out we were assigned Room 1069. I looked it up here and I think it's Cat 10, which means Deluxe Inside Stateroom, right? So that's pretty much the best we could hope for in that category, if I understand it right...? We don't care either way, just happy to be able to be on the ship!!

Just a heads up.... there is a note posted near the beverage station that you should only use new cups to refill as this stops contamination on the spouts. Also when we were on our Alaska cruise there was someone posted at the stations sometimes who stopped people from using their own cups.
Just a word of warning.

Thanks! I was wondering about that. I figured we'd probably use their cups to get the drinks and then pour into our own... Kind of like at most buffet lines, I know they like you get new plates each time.

I have only bought from there twice before but I really like their return policy, easy pay program and customer service. I'll pm you the link so you can take a look at it.

Just took a peak at my reservation and I got cabin #2578, I paid for a cat 11 and got a cat 9... Gotta love those upgrades

Rental car in San Diego - I know I read somewhere in these many threads that there is a car rental service in SD that will pick up at cruise port. Does anyone remember what company it was?

To funny I was looking for info on room assignments for FE. I was going through my list and viola I noticed a bunch without rooms. Then I started to see the posts and the rooms are started to be posted. So I will just add names beside each one without a room till I know.

I must say that making them became quite a challenge. Seems my cat really really likes what I am making and wanted to play with them. Which really slowed down my assembly line. Having to push him off the table

So I made one for him. Nope he wanted what I had in my hand not his own personal toy lol.

I wanted to pass along that if you are looking for a rental car in San Diego,
Advantage Rental car has a shuttle that will take you from the pier to their location (Which is not far from the pier).

I am guessing this is the case with other agencies as well but only checked with Advantage as they had the best price I could find on a daily rental ($26 including taxes and fees).

If for some reason they are not a fit, the other car I researched was Enterprise (open 'til 9 p). The Little Italy has the best rate and it shows they offer pick up service. Rate for an intermediate car was $52.79 (w/ costco code + free upgrade $50.15).
