September 30, 2012 - "To San Francisco and Beyond"

Did y'all know that you can't send PMs until you've made 10 posts?

"4. To take part in the FE, please PM Disney-ite/Deb the following information..."

So this is my second post

We just found out our cabin #s and we really lucked out -we've been upgraded to category 4A:yay:

Post 3. Only 7 more and then I can PM my info for the FE list.

What category were you before?

I am soooo excited :cheer2: we have our stateroom #2560. Is it Sept 30th yet??? I hope we don't have designated days. Can't wait to meet you all. :wave2:

Hollywood Glitter or Disney-ite are either one of you keeping track of how many special occasions we have in our group (b-day or anniversary)? Just wondering

Hello All…

I wanted to pass along that if you are looking for a rental car in San Diego, Advantage Rental car has a shuttle that will take you from the pier to their location (Which is not far from the pier).

I am guessing this is the case with other agencies as well but only checked with Advantage as they had the best price I could find on a daily rental ($26 including taxes and fees).

Happy Tuesday All :)

Thank you so much for the info on the rental car. We are booked with Budget as we have used them in the past in SD, but am not sure if they provide a shuttle. I will contact them and if not, will reach out to Advantage.

:cool1: Cool :cool1:
Thanks for sharing... I was booked with Enterprise which has a "pick up" service. Tonight I was looking at DISboards / Travel links and found a Costo Coupon and Free upgrade for Enterprise. I was going to rebook to get the lower price and better car, but it would still be $50.15 (for a Corolla). I'm switching to Advantage!! :drive:

Lise,
Thanks, and Welcome Home. LOL with your 4 yr old. Sounds like our kids, but we were a little closer to Florida. The first time our 8 year old son set his eyes on our 2 bedroom Villa at OKW he said "This is better than home" - that pretty much sums it up. The DVC has been a wonderful non-investment for us. So many wonderful vacations over the years.
Some great gifts seem to be handed out for the FE and it is tempting to participate. Will have to give it a little thought. Will have to creative in my choices with having to travel 3000 miles.

Turn about is fair play... last trip we were the ones making the 3000 mile flight to Orlando. But, come to think of it, this trip we still have to pack the suitcase to fly and the luggage doesn't care if it's on the plane 6 hrs or just 2+ :rotfl2:

The FE is too much fun. I have a couple ideas for you. Check for a PM.:surfweb:

Hi...

If a celebration was mentioned...I have been adding it to the list on post #1 as people have joined the thread :goodvibes

If there are any other celebrations that should be noted...please let me know.

Disney-ite has been fabulous with keeping the list of cruisers in the first post of this thread up to date with all of that information, check it out! It's great!

Hollywood Glitter- I just saw your graphic, great job! I am in the middle of making a similar one myself (for our FE gifts.) I think I have a decent image on the Wonder logo that I saved from our last cruise, if you want me to send it to you? I'll have a look for it when I get home from work.

We are just down the hall from you ( I think ...) we are in 2550. Disney-ire has a pretty good list on the first post. I just put mine into a spreadsheet to work out the gifts. I haven't even got to the celebrations yet. LOL

I've got my spead sheet going as well... fun, fun... who will get what???

Thanks HG! Being a first timer it is certainly interesting seeing this. I assume that since we have the late seating for dinner we will be seeing the early shows. Are there any activities after the late seating (other than Pirate night)?

While Route 66 section of the Wonder is full of family fun by day, come evening and it's a place for adults to enjoy. There will likely be a comedy show :jester: :joker: or themed dance party :hippie: party: :rockband: most nights.

We should have a fab :cake:dessert buffet one night... and maybe a midnight movie release :3dglassespopcorn:::3dglasses

Lot's to do :dance3:

We are on the Sept 20 Cruise
Purrplemickey
Derek and Maryfrances
2nd Disney Cruise (last years WBTA)
Las Vegas, NV

Hello Maryfrances :butterfly

Good to see you here at last! :cheer2:

Looking forward to being next door cabin neighbours with you and Derek :donald:

Get with those posts to earn your ears!

Be seeing you soon! pixiedust:

We are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary one year late :)
We had a trip planned last year and then a phone call to help out a family member had that trip cancelled so we decided this cruise was our gift to ourselves. Truthfully this is the better of the two trips :cool1:

Hi Lise,
Looking forward to the suggestions :thumbsup2- I have some ideas, but anything will help. How do I find a PM? This site is a little different than CC which I am finally fairly familiar with.

Congratulations!! Cruising is the best way to celebrate a special occasion. We just celebrated our 31st anniversary on the Celebrity Silhouette in the Med in late June. The chef even made a special cake for us.
We look forward to meeting you.

Just found that out. I am on my 9th post. Seems strange - you also can't send any attachements or links until you have 10 posts.
