Happy Belated Birthday, Silversae!!! I'm so excited since I've made my final payment for our cruise. WOOHOO!!! Although we are from San Diego, we are planning on doing the tourist thing. I haven't been to the USS Midway Museum. Always wanted to be a tourist in my hometown . Disney-ite thank you for the update on the FE list. It gives me an idea of what I will need. 77 days to go

been doing.

So...how about a Dis-meet on Sunday at 3:00 pm at the
"Promenade Lounge" on deck 3?

Last cruise we ordered silicon bracelets imprinted with our fun cruise name (LABORless MAGICal Meanderers - Labor Day cruise) and date. It made it easy to spot our DISfriends. If you wanted to be spotted, you'd just wear the bracelet. It was helpful in spotting the DISkids too! We handed them out at the Meet & Greet and took some fun photos.

Does this cruise have a name yet? Cal Coaster?

Hi, and welcome! This will be my third cruise out of L.A. with DCL. I like the San Pedro Inn and Suites. They offer free breakfast and transportation to the port. I'm not positive about the park and cruise, however, as we've always flown down the night before, but it seems to me they might. Here's their direct number:310 514 -1414. I booked them through priceline for $89.

Planning to stay there too. We had our wedding reception there in 1994. We booked 20+ rooms and made it a 3-day weekend wedding

We're also staying at the San Pedro Flying in the day before to make sure that we've got plenty of time in case of delays. I'm happy to see that others have stayed there before. Was a little concerned but i'm feeling better about it now.

I just found out that our cruise has an eligible discount for Annual Passholders. Annual Passholders get 25% off the price of the cruise. It's only for certain staterooms so you'll have to call DCL to check and see if the promotion applies to your booking. I don't have an Annual pass, but I'm going to get the So Cal Select pass for $269 and that saves me $513 on the cruise. All I have to do is show proof when we board. So for those So Cal cruisers this might help you out. It saved me a bunch and now I have an anuual pass! Bonus!

I had cancelled my 11B stateroom right before the paid in full date because I thought they'd have the OGT and VGT rates soon, I was thrilled to find the 25% Annual Pass holders discount, so I rebooked today and got to pick my cabin. Score! Way better deal, and I already have an annual pass.

Hello.. great idea about the bracelets although can't see DH wearing one but I certainly will.
On our last cruise someone did lanyards for us DIS'ers and we collected them at the meet and greet (3pm Promenade Lounge). As we live in the UK and I know some are coming from Germany etc it would make life a lot easier for you for us all to collect them and pay what we owe at the time. Just a suggestion.

Hey Everyone!

My Mum, sister (21) (wenuwish on DIS) and Myself (17) booked this morning!

This will be our 3rd cruise with Disney (second this year ... oops!)
We have been looking at this cruise for a little while now but we weren't sure if we could get the time off.

We're super excited and so glad we don't have to wait too long! Can't wait for the amazing food!

Sadly we won't be participating in FE this time, we loved doing it on our last cruise, but we just aren't going to have enough time. We will definitely be at the 3pm meet up though!
