Welcome and congrats on your first cruise. Our DS will be turning 6 on the cruise. Be prepared to have your son want to spend all his time in the kids club. If you would like to try and introduce the kids, let me know.

I emailed DCL and asked which nights were planned for pirate, semi-formal and formal night on our cruise before I booked Palo & nursery time and got this reply. Thought I'd share with anyone else interested!

"7-Night Pacific Coast Cruise
*Nights 1, 3, 4, 7: cruise casual
*Night 2: "semi-formal night" - semi-formal wear for men: suit/jacket;
for women: dress or pantsuit.
*Night 5: "formal night" - formal wear for men: tuxedo or suit; for
women: gown or dress
*Night 6: pirate night with deck party - cruise casual or bring your
best pirate outfit!

Yes, fireworks are planned but the disclaimer was that it's weather permitting.

VGT (veranda) $1947

OGT rates for the Sept 23rd cruise $1847

can our cruise be far behind? Thinking of canceling my 11B cabin and booking one of these OGT or VGT rates if they become available for our cruise. What to do, what to do.......

Once we get our cabin assignment, I'll PM you. Maybe we could try and meet after lunch on the first day. We always eat at Parrot Cay. Since we will have cell coverage, I will PM my cell number too.

My MIL will be joining us as well we are early dining since we have such young kids and like to see the show after dinner. We are so excited and Alec is thrilled to have a friend!!!
