I haven't been on my computer all day but I see lots of plans being made! Sounds like fun. I've been baking cookies all day because my DS actually gets to come home for a couple hours tomorrow. I'm off to pick him up from the Magic (at 6AM mind you). He gets to come home for a couple hours before reporting back! It's funny, I'll wave good bye to him here and when they get to Port Canaveral in 2 weeks, we'll be on he dock to wave hello!!

After tomorrow, it's time to get really serious about packing....Hhmmmm...where did I put that list????

only two more weeks and we'll all be having visions of disney cruise dancing in our heads. or will we all be fully dressed sitting on the side of our beds waiting for first light to set off for the terminal? if only i could get that mickey wake up call at the cocoa beach quality suites.

Glad to hear from new DIS mates as I used to watch this thread a while back and mused... are there just a few folks sailing on this date? Frankly this is turning out to be great fun laced with pleasant anticipation given all the warm good hearted folks here. I remember our first DCL cruise 2 years ago and we met a really wonderful family at dinner. The other family at our table was sort of wacked and less fun. So we spent some of the trip ashore and at the pool with the fun family and as such it enhanced the DCL experience immensely. Not to say we are looking to do the same with anyone else... but having so many familiar faces aboard should make for a better experience for all I'm sure.

Wilson Family: So... aside from that - I would call DCL and track where your docs are. And while you're at it be sure to confirm your cabin as you might have an upgrade right? Since "I" did not get the Walt suite that means it might still be YOURS! Like... who actually pays for things like that? Well... I guess I actually would if I had the spare change. But as yet I don't have that kind of change... as I'm still accumulating my BRK-A stock for eventual use in buying my netjets fractional membership.

So... does anyone want to consider a DIS BEACH GATHERING? Not all three - but how about ONE of the ports? It might be fun to have our kids who are acqainted hang out at the beach. We'd have a lot of watchful parental eyes... and can you just imagine what sort of sand castle our kids might craft with all the human resources at hand?

If not a general DIS beach gathering... I would like to propose the notion to any who would consider it. We can actually finalize it at the DIS meet for any who are still chewin' on the notion.

i just noticed that omapcw already has the pirate flags covered, i guess great minds think alike. maybe i'll just head to the party store and see what hits my fancy, either pirate or tropical themed and i'll let ya'll know what i find.

GREAT NEWS!!!! Skye's fever has finally broke! Since Tuesday she has always had a fever, slowly coming down over the last couple of days and she woke up with NO FEVER!!!! Yea!!! Must have been all the well wishes! Thanks everyone!

Sounds like a lot of fun for the kids. I picked up mini telescopes and little rainbow notebooks for the kids.

Well she is definately feeling better. She is driving me insane this morning over a toy that she wants! She wants the Barbie Pegasus head. Now she's begging me to let her paint her Barbie's fingernails with my nail polish. Its going to be a long day! Normally she is at her horse riding lesson but because she has been sick I cancelled it......... I'm glad she's feeling so good but does she really need to be making of for lost time that she was sick?? Oops just heard her bedroom door shut. That means shes up to something!
