DisneyBelle99 this is a new concept to us as well but either group will be fun. We love the FE. And you can easily join both groups since most of us were already in the FE to begin with. You might only be adding a couple newcomers to the adult group.

btw. What did you decide for transportation? You can hop on the bus with us since we've had a stop open up. I think you're at BLT. That's right next to the Poly where Dreamer7787 is getting on.

Did you see Southwest has a fare sale going on right now? Looked like some good deals depending on dates.

Yes, it you could add BLT, we will take 2 seats on the bus going to the Ship.
We are going back to the airport at the end, and have time to kill, so we will take the Disney bus back. This way the big luggage stuff is done for us.
How does it work on the bus there? Do we have to schlep our own luggage?

Yeah, my max is about 10. I would rather have a small group, where I can spend a little bit more but not break the bank. And I just don't have space for more than that, especially on a Member Cruise. No matter how much extra space I leave in our bags, we still end up struggling to get it all home. Last year we went to WDW after the cruise, and ended up getting some boxes from the store at the villas and shipping some stuff home. My DH was not amused, lol.

We also did the fe last year..about 25-30 (adults and children) Tho we did have fun with this, it was hard to bring the stuff on a plane and we also had to get boxes and ship stuff home at a cost of over 65.00.. this year, we will not be doing this....

The adult only group I am running will cap at 10 participants, if you are interested in a smaller group. I don't know if you will have children with you or not, but if you don't, that's an option to participate on a smaller scale.

Welcome and thanks for joining the charter. I'll put you on the list. When we took the Disney bus to a resort after a cruise we had to retrieve our bags before going through customs and take them ourselves. Not sure if the airport bus is the same. Let me know if you decide to use our charter to the airport.

This is a joke. I don't know why this person believes they are in a position of authority to ignore the consensus opinion on this thread and post false information insulting everyone here.

Another poster on this thread had proposed the idea of an adult FE and majority has agreed that she will organize it. Therefore she is running our adult FE.

If you wish to sign up for this please PM RatherBeWithMickey.

Considering the FE is a function of the Disboards and only the Disboards it must be managed and run from here. It was designed to allow everyone's thoughts, comments and input. we need to get it back to its original spirit.

I propose we have someone else host it. We need volunteers please.

Can someone please let Hollywood Glitter know she is not hosting the FE on our cruise. I'm sure I'm on the ignore list.

I have been booked on this cruise since Nov of 2011. It is something I cherish and have been excited about and looking forward to for over a year and a half now. I can't wait to experience it as a member's cruise. We've had an incredible journey getting here.

We've had differences with Sigris in the past but I've tried to keep things positive and welcome her. When she kicked Mark off facebook twice and deleted all links to the disboards here, I still tried to keep things positive and welcome her. I kept hearing over and over about others having posts removed from FB.

I am happy to announce we have a new FB page. Please PM ratherbewithmickey for the link. JQ and I are working on getting a login. This will allow us to post details and rosters for the bus and the cabin crawl and the FE with maps and schedules and tons of great stuff without having to worry about it being removed or deleted or not pinned to the front page or reworded or not linked.

We've been on 3 cruises so far and never have we had any problems close to this. I thought maybe it's me? Maybe I'm the problem? or maybe I'm not? So I did a little research.

I would like everyone to take the time to read the following threads and understand this is a repeated pattern of behavior and many people have been affected.

You will see almost the identical treatment to what's been given over here these past few days with a complete lack of consideration for others and constant self promoted updates regarding progress with signups. This caused a lot of hurt feelings.

It has happened again on the Disigns board in a different way. (read the moderators posts)

I am so sorry we are also in this situation.

And I sincerely hope these problems which are unique to Sigris are over.

We need a volunteer for the FE. I've done our may 2011 cruise and we had 20 cabins it was great. It's easy to do and I hope someone graciously comes forward to help.

I don't know anyone personally nor do I feel offended by anyone. Anyway you look at it it's turning into a mess. I don't mind being apart of both the family and adult only groups. I don't know if its a solution, but maybe there should be a new person to run both the family and adult FE list so no one can be offended by another. My kids really enjoyed making, giving and receiving the gifts and would like it to be the same fun as before. There was over 60 cabins and no drama there so its clearly possible to have that. Right?!

I agree. That's a great idea. I'm in the process of setting up a master FE list that will be accessible from the front page to participants only. It will allow everyone to review their info in real time, post updates and make corrections themselves. Anyone new, wanting to join, can by requesting access here, and will then be able to go in and add themselves directly.

This puts control of the FE in the hands of ALL the participants where it belongs, rather than one person controlling and dictating what happens.

I'm so glad these FE groups are working out. We have 3 spaces left in our adult group possibly 4 as I am awaiting confirmation from someone. The Main FE is at 25.

Poison Ivy it sounds like your sticking with the Main Group and joining Cindy's right? I just want to confirm so I can make any changes to the Main list if necessary

The fact that you have an ignore list at all on the Disboards and are adding people to it is very concerning to me and speaks volumes. I know you can read everyone's posts when you are not logged in so that whole business about not being able to see what JQ posts is patently false.

that kind of stuff needs to remain on your FB page and ONLY on that FB page.

Which is exactly why we had to start a new one. The information is completely out of date over there and I am concerned. Since you refuse to reference or PIN the disboards link and have been making personal requests such as to keep discussions private there regarding the adult FE it may cause serious problems for people who have no idea whats really going on with our cruise. Nobody here should be put through something like this.

Our cruise meet FB should never have been used as someone's personal FB page.
