September 29, 2012 - Ropin' Some Magic in the Western Caribbean

When I look at how much time we have left till we sail it seems like forever but I know the time will pass fast..............i hope :worried:

My friend Julie737 is on the other FE list & was wondering if you could switch her with faithfullyeeyore so she could be on our list since we are all traveling together (Diva Princess Mom, Staceykins, Julie737, and Bendele Family). Both families have 3 adults & 2 kids so it would be an even trade, if it's okay with failthfullyeeyore of course. Plus that gives the other group more kids that are 8yr+. Please let me know if this is okay.

Thank You :)

PS - Thanks for all your hard work!:yay:

I'm fine with switching!

Just making sure I'm on the same page as everyone else, but if you are on both lists I was still just planning on giving you one set of gifts, not two.

I'm assuming that's how everyone is doing it :)

Yes--I am definitely only giving once--it doesn't make sense to me to give twice to the same person!

Question about formal/semi-formal nights...(I know, I know....)

I have tuxes (more like black suits with vests and two different types of ties) off of ebay for my boys for a school program this spring. I would like for them to wear them, but if they are the only boys showing up in them, they will be mad. (Not exactly their favorite thing to wear.) Little girl dress-up clothes seem easier to go "formal".

So, what are your young men and dads wearing for these nights?

When will we know what the theme nights are? I bought my daughter a "hawaiian dress" for a hawaiian shirt night and a pirate costume for pirate night, but I am not even sure these are going to be on our cruise. I have been looking around but can't find anything, just wondering if anyone else knows.

Another quick questions in regards to passports.

Do we need an actual passport book or can we just use the passport cards?

I was thinking of dressing my boys in tuxedo vests and bow ties. I know they'll hate it but it won't kill them for two hours. It'll make for nice pictures, anyway.

That's kinda what I was thinking. May let them wear their black flip-flops with them though! :)

PIF!!!:banana::banana: I guess this means I'm really going on a cruise!

Is anyone doing excursions on their own in port? I've been looking at a few that look interesting, and would be significantly lower than Disney is asking. We did our own excursions on the Eastern and had no problem. Just wondering if any of you had seen anything worth checking out.

I wish I could help you but I haven't even looked this time. It is very difficult to find an excursion that is ECV friendly and I cannot walk farther than 20 feet. My sister and I plan on staying aboard and enjoying the ship without all the people!

We did this in St. Thomas, and it was awesome. We had the entire ship to ourselves...we watched The Little Mermaid from the hot tub while sipping drinks. It was my favorite day of the cruise. Piper, did you get my private message regarding participating in all FE groups?
