Christa!! Did anyone see that clip where the couple fell overboard and were actually rescued after a few hours? They were as naked as jailbirds. Now that would be fun!! To toss someone overboard, naked, and then allow the entire ship to watch as they're rescued - naked!

Hooray. Doing the doc dance! Well, to be honest, I don't have them in my hands yet, but my TA called this afternoon and had them in hers! Her office is just a few minutes away, so DH is going to swing by and pick them up from her tomorrow! Hooray! Hope all of yours come in very, very soon!!

I am more then a little nervous, I again called my ta about doc, Disney sent them out sep 14, my ta checked they are due to arrive at my ta's wednesday the 19th,them processed there then sent out from las vegas to ill to me she said I should get them by the 25th, Iam leaving home the 27th, to close for me

I would call DCL and find out where they are and maybe yours can be overnighted! There didn't seem to be more info in them then what gets printed out when you checkin online! Well ctually there is the Bahamas customs form but I am sure there are more of those on the ship!

We are also staying at POFQ-arriving Thursday night - hopefully in time for dinner and a dip in the pool. Will also be hanging out at the pool on Friday am before heading to Downtown Disney for a little shopping. I have red hair, DD7 is a curly blonde and DD5 is curly auburn haired little firecracker. Please say hi if you see us at the pool!!

No docs yet!!!!!!!!

But I did get the stuff I ordered for the goody bags and stuff I ordered from disney online.. my DD's princess aurora costume (my dd said she looks just like princess aurora except that she doesn't have yellow hair ) and her personalized luggage.. which are VERY cute!

10 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG it's getting close.. tomorrow we'll be counting down to 1 digit!

I wish I could say my boss was going to be out of the office between now and when I leave. But at least I can say she'll be gone when I get back!!

I had to E-mail my TA a 2nd time for a response about the docs. She said DCL will send them out 2 weeks to 10 days prior to our sail date. Talk about waiting until the last minute. DH is starting to freak out about it but I told him we don't really need them. I hope that's true. On the way home from dinner, the car was all-a-buzz with anticipation for the cruise! It's almost here!!!

We're arriving on thursday around 4pm. Are you renting a car too? Is your DH going to drop you guys off first at the port on saturday and then just take the shuttle? We're also renting a car on the 6th because our flight doesn't leave until 6pm so we have time to go around town also.

We are leaving our house at 3:23 pm----that's the time my youngest gets off the school bus. We are driving down to pick dh up from work (he works 10 min from the Philly airport). Then right to check-in for our 6:55 pm flight. We won't get to WDW until about 10 pm on Thurs. We'll probably head right to the food court because we'll be going on just a small bag of peanuts all evening/night.....

grammy....we're staying at POFQ on Oct 6. I have POP booked for 9/27--9/29. That's a bummer we'll not be at POFQ at the same time. Hmmmm....maybe I can change the ressie ? We really liked POFQ when we stopped by for a peak in August.

If you only knew how much money I have spent in preparation for this cruise, you would know why that's so funny. If I went to tell DH right now that I was ordering personalized luggage, he may have me committed!

Oh! I forgot to tell everyone, I ordered my baskets with The Perfect Gift today! I am so tempted to tell DH but I ordered one for him too so I can't. And!! I called our car service and canceled the town car and ordered the limo! I told DH on the way home that I confirmed the car service and he said one of us will have to ride in the front. I was thinking, "That's what you think!" But instead I said, "Yeah, we'll make DS do it." While snickering that I'm pulling off this surprise too. I don't know how I'm going to out-do myself after all this!

Following what everyone else has said, everything is pretty much the same, EXCEPT......starting just this past week, the Disembarkation Talk is now only on your television. (Showing constantly, starting on Thrusday night and starring cruise director, Rachel. It's actually quite funny, too!) There is no live presentation.

Also, on our cruise they premiered 2 new themed parties in Rockin' Bar D. (They did away with the 60's and 70's parties.) One was called One Hit Wonders and it (obviously) featured one hit wonders sung by the ship band High Frequency and played by DJ Dan. (Lucky for all furture cruisers, High Frequency got off the cruise this week! No one else has to be subjected to their musical torture!) The other was the night before Cozumel and it was a Spring Break Bash. Way fun! Tons of free Jell-O Shots, conga lines and party music!

We're staying at BWV, (its our 1st DVC stay anywhere but SSR) but in 2004, Sis, the kids and I stayed at POFQ and really enjoyed it! The kids loved the pool!

So, that's one good thing - it's all bought and paid for -- thus far!! But you know, seriously, this is my dream vacation and I am going to do it as right as I can. We may never be able to do this again. Right?

Don't mind the Disembarkation talk being on TV, makes it easier but I have to say I am a little disappointed with the 60s and 70s parties being gone, I that music! My family knows only too well that life can end when you least expect it (my older sister died at 43 in 2000, we all still miss her terribly) and with my mother being so ill for the last 2 years you have to do things when you are able! I figure as long as I am not hurting anyone or going seriously into debt, I am going to do what I want when I can. Sometimes you don't get a chance to do something if you pass on it the first time! And I absolutely agree if you are going to do something, DO IT RIGHT!!!

Yes, we're renting a car from Budget at the Orlando airport. Taking it to the port and yes, dh is dropping us off and then taking the car back. Then, on disembarkation day, we'll take the shuttle over to Budget again and pick up another car which we'll return the next day at Tampa airport.
