Labels: Fabulous idea Pauline. I love it! I can also make the labels since I have yet to find any pirate contribution for the goodie bag.

The Halloween candy is being stocked in stores now. You could always pick up some candy! It doesn't have to be "pirate themed".

Okay, a lot of ideas have been tossed around about when to get together to collate the goody bags. I'm in for whenever, I have built in babysitters with Nana and Papa. So once it's all been decided, we need a concise post of all of the get-togethers so I'm sure we don't miss anything.

I will start the spread sheet this weekend then all I have to do is add to it as folks respond.

Only 2 weeks until my first MNSSHP
AND 15 days until my first Disney cruise!

Gotta go get picture mats and pillowcases today and then I think I am set and ready to pack! That is until i remeber something else that I just have to take!

Does anybody have any suggestions for a good (and fairly easy to use) digital camera! By that I mean one without a delay. I have an HP that is about 5 years old and the delay is starting to drive me crackers.

I am hoping to get pillowcases today from Target and photomats from Michaels. I only know from the boards and I believe you can give them a few items as long as you don't go overboard Right now I am thinking 2 pillowcase and a photomat each for mine and my parent's cabin. We are planning to put a small bag of candy and a gift or phone card with our stuff!

Lori: We have a cannon camera.. they work pretty well. My DH's Digital SLR EOS has no delay you can click how many times a minute.. HE's going to lug that around as well. I have to buy those dry packs at REI today or tomorrow so that our cameras and camcorders are protected at the beach.

Parasailing is on at CC again!!
Who else is going to serenity bay?? i'll have my "alone" time between 11:00-12:30

If you leave them at guest services on the first day of the cruise, along with some permanent markers, the 'characters' will sign them for you as a souvenir for your child(ren).

For souvenirs, you can opt to buy a signature frame from an art supply store like micheals drop off (just the mat & markers) at guest services and you can have it at the end of the cruise with characters' signatures on it.
Same goes for pillowcases

Don't know how many of you booked guarantees or are hoping to upgrade at the port.

I'm currently assigned to a cat 11 and overall, I'm thrilled with our room assignment. But just for grins, I thought I would check into what opportunities we had for upgrades. According to Disney, there are only 11, 6 and 4 categories left. The pricing for any upgrade to a 6 was $1200, and to a 4 it was $2100. Yeah, that ain't gonna happen.

Also, my TA says that I'd probably do better trying to upgrade directly at the port.

Looks like there are going to be quite a few of us dressing up on formal night. That will make it more comfortable. I like the idea of having that night to kind of go all out. DH and DS are wearing dark suits. Oldest DD and I are wearing long formal gowns, and youngest DD is wearing an all white flower girl type of dress.

As far as the bags, it sounds like we've got a ton of things to stuff them with, so since some folks are bringing extra bags, maybe that should stretch the # we have to give out.

I don't think concierge is available until Cat 3. Cat 4's are just a bit bigger.
