Hello everyone,

Only 315 days left until our cruise; a good time to start this thread!

We have recently booked this cruise and hope that there will be many of you traveling with us!

It will be me, DH, DD (15 at the time of the cruise), DD (13) and DS (4)

I look forward to connecting with you and hope to meet some of our fellow cruisers from the DIS!

I'm delighted to see more people joining in!

This is our first cruise on DCL as well; actually our first cruise ever!

Having read so many wonderful things about DCL we have decided to add a cruise to our WDW holiday this year. And as always, the Disers have been most helpful in obtaining information and planning!

We would love to participate in a FE group; hopefully there will be enough participants so that we can organize one.

I understand; I guess the FEs can be cumbersome when traveling.

Sorry for the delayed response, we have just returned from a holiday - closer to home!

I will be happy to help with the Disboards side; and will complete the form you have sent.

by the looks of your location, we will be traveling just as far as you Vanessa...your a braver girl than I re FE...

Where will you be flying from? For us it will be particularly long because we will be flying through Europe; with a one day break in either London or Zurich; as I am not brave enough to face a direct flight to the US, which can be over 15 hours, with the three kids: I need the break in the middle!

For the FE, my girls love the idea; and really want to do this. I am certainly not the crafty type and not nearly as talented as many others on these boards; I am thinking of taking with us small African items that wouldn't take too much space - we would need to see for the flights back how much space we would need! I am not too worried about the luggage allowance, as there are 5 of us traveling with an allowance for one suitcase at up to 23 Kg each; my frequent traveller status allows me to have one additional suitcase with 23 kg...

I guess the problem might be the logistics; although we do not intend to take too much with us and hopefully will not get anywhere near the 6 (!) suitcases we are allowed to have. As the cruise will only be a part of our holiday, I am hoping to find a place where we could store some of our luggage so that we wouldn't have to take all of it for a 4 day cruise. Perhaps the hotel we are staying at prior to the cruise (probably Universal but I haven't booked yet) or the hotel after the cruise, which will be on site...

Laura, I completed the form but have just realized I have put in the wrong stateroom number: it is 12510 and not 12508: I am not sure how to edit this on the form? Should I completed again with the new number?

we are popping over from Oz....so we totally relate re the trip length...14 hrs syd-lax then 6hrs lax-mco...plus layovers of around 6-8 hrs combined..makes for a long day and a bit...also I dont want to lug more than I have to as we also bring dive gear...

we too are leaving excess luggage at WDW resort before the cruise then when we stay after the cruise we just pick it up. WDW are great re left luggage...

just saw you are sailing concierge.....so are we deck 11...so we'll meet you in the lounge

Hey everyone, this is my first post here so not sure if I'm doing it right. I will be on this cruise celebrating a milestone birthday and have been searching info on the fish extender program. It sounds like a lot of fun. At first I thought we could just put stuff in anyone's as long as they have one up but now I'm wondering if this will take away time if we have to go searching for each others staterooms.
