I am leaving this evening and heading down to WDW to spend a week at the Poly in CL! YAY! :goodvibes Going to try and catch the new POC movie while I am there! Not as cool as the premier stuff but still be fun to see it at the World!

You guys have a great week! :thumbsup2

116 DAYS TO GO! YAY!:banana::woohoo:

I'm starting to get my things together in one place. Have been buying a few things every week for months now. I have all our meds, deodorant, pirate outfits, etc in a tote in my bedroom. Now that it's summer I'm looking for sales on nice clothing for the kids, and have a tote set aside for that.

Is anyone else starting to get excited? Or am I just over obsessive?

The kids also made our 100 day count down. This time it's a 100 link chain w/Disney trivia on it. I think I downloaded it from Disboards, months ago.
It's hanging in my kitchen. Over the shelf, across to the ladder, threw the rungs and hanging over the end.:upsidedow

I am SUPER excited... but 116 days still seems forever away. :sad2: I probably won't really start to get excited til about the 75 day mark.... that is normally around when I start putting my stuff together. But... it helps that I just got back from a week at WDW and heading out west to Vegas/Grand Canyon/Sedona at the end of June... lets me have something extra before the cruise! BUT.... the cruise is still my number one trip this year! :woohoo:

We're having a pretty laid back summer. Maybe take the camper out once or twice but not much other than that. The cruise is the big ticket item for us. It's always on my mind.

Have fun on your trips. It'll keep you busy.

No worries! The cruise is always on my mind too! I was actually just looking at the room-only discount WDW just released and thinking I will book one night at the Contemporary the night before! :goodvibes that would be a fun surprise for my family, and a way to say thanks to may parents for paying for this wonderful trip!

And yes... any Disney Cruise is a big ticket item! Well worth it... but hits the pocketbook for sure! :thumbsup2

I may have to check out the rates at WDW. We are booked at Country Inn at port, but how nice would a night be at the world

Totally! You can get a standard room at one of the values for $89 (based on 2 adults) or you can go all the way up to a room at the Contemporary (theme park view) for $438 for the night. It'll be nice to see the MK from the room and I made us dinner reservations at Chef Mickeys. And who knows... maybe we will hop over to the MK for the Halloween Party or over to EPCOT since they are open til Midnight!

Well I checked it out and still think we are better at port. My problem is I would want to go to MK. I better just stay away.

So does anyone else have plans for the summer? How are you all preparing for our cruise?

LOL... I understand. I am always wanting to go to the MK so I always try and find a way! Sometimes I am unsuccessful! :sad2: Oh well! The port will be good so you won't have to worry about transportation to the Port Saturday morning.

WOO HOO! :woohoo: Paid off our cruise today!:banana: Going to be booking all of our extras... dining and private cabana... on Saturday! :cool1::dance3:

SO EXCITED!

WOOT!WOOT!
I'm jealous, I can't book my stuff until July something. I paid ours off w/tax return back in Feb. So just waiting for 75 day mark.
Hoping time will start to go by quicker now that it's summer.

Well, for some reason I don't get notified when you guys write on here. So, I just keep checking like once a week.

We have a bunch of trips planned this summer. Although, it's because my husband travels a lot. So, we have lots of points and stuff. In a couple of weeks we are headed to the midwest to see family. Then in July we are headed back to California (no Disney this time just Sea World and Legoland). In August we are dropping the kids off at my parents and going to Hawaii. So, that's the trip I'm looking forward to first!! Although, since I'm on here guess you can tell I'm excited about it already. Before the cruise I need to get my two year old potty trained. I teased my mom that she can do that while we are in Hawaii. She kept telling me how easy it was with me and my brother. So, I told her to have him trained by the time we get home.

We won't have to pack as much as we did last time. Being on the boat for 2 weeks and bringing all the diaper and stuff that we needed was such a hassle! People were laughing at us in the Barcelona airport. I was like you don't understand with a 1 and 4 year old what all you need for 2 weeks on a ship! I refused to do any laundry!! So, this will be so much easier!

How are the lists coming along? I'm so glad you mentioned when you can start signing up for things! Our date is June 26th too!

Sounds exciting! Are you going to check out Aulani? I would love to hear about it! I actually believe it officially opens in August!

I wish! Although, that one I'd do with the kids. We are doing the Big Island this time.

Plus, we are actually going to Bloomington in June. My parents said the storms have been really bad down there. I keep telling them they need to move to here instead. :)

I LOVE Colorado! I have a friend who lives in Denver! We are actually coming out west to Vegas/Sedona/Grand Canyon in less than a month!
Yea.. we got the storms that went through MO and OK and even though they weren't as bad as they were there... they were still bad. Tornado damage was minimal...most of the problems were wind and hail damage.

We actually live in a suburb of Denver. We love it out here too! We moved here about 3 years ago from Chicago/Bloomington and love it! We said we'd never move back! Although, all our family is in those two places. So, just trying to get my parents here.

My parents said there was a lot of damage in Bloomington! Luckily, none to their property. So, hopefully we won't have any problems when we are there in a couple of weeks. I won't forget last year when we visited for three straight nights we had to give the kids snacks in the closet since the sirens were going off during dinner time. I think we told them it was an adventure.

The storms can get crazy here for sure! LOL. We actually have 9 cats right now because we take in the strays in the neighborhood... we have plenty of room for them so its not like I am a cat lady... you could walk through the house and never see a cat! :goodvibes Anyway... You should've seen us in the bathroom with 9 cats and a dog! It was quite humorous! :lmao: Not quite sure what was funnier... all of us in the bathroom or trying to get them in the bathroom!

Anyway... hope you have safe travels! Hopefully we get to meet up on the cruise!

Lisa sounds like you'll have a very busy summer. Have fun with your travels.

I'm thinking about how we can all meet the day we board. Since I've never cruised before I have no idea what would be a good place to meet. I would rather do it the first day but don't know where to do it. Where do you all think is the best place and time?

Hmm... How about sometime after the Adventures Away Party either in the Lobby or maybe on the uppers decks?
