Same with our daughter (Savannah)- she LOVED it at age 4- now at age 10 she won't go near it!!

LOL, well at least it's nice to know I'm not the only one with such a goofy kid.

DD will ride it with me, because it's usually just the two of us and I can't leave her standing by herself waiting for me (she's 9 now), lol, but she doesn't like it, and she tells me how much she doesn't like it, repeatedly. lol

Okay, I have it set up. We'll see it how it is with live updates for now and if it doesn't work, I'll change it. Once you have joined the page, you have to click on the "edit settings" button on the top right of the group page. Our plane departs at 2:00 pm from MCO. Glad to have the flights all booked, not so glad that we have to go home and back to work

I do like that Southwest has late flights out of MCO, our April trip has us leaving at 8:20PM plenty of time to hit the parks one last time

Can you belive that the fantasy will be home in just a few more weeksUnless i come into a lot of cash before the cruise i will be going to magic kingdom park on Friday september 21[ for mickey halloween party. I want to dress up but since i will be staying at the hyatt inside the airport i will have to bring my outfit and store it in a locker. How much is the locker. My flight is all set for thursday september 20. I got the red eye from seattle. So how is evey one doing on thier FE gifts. I have to waite until the end of august to finsh them. nO I'M NOT TELLING WHAT THEY ARE. i want them to be a suprize. It's so grey here just fantaszing about the warm carbbiean sun. Nope. I LOVE ToT, but she doesn't like it. She used to like it, when she was first tall enough to ride it, but a few years ago she decided that she doesn't like it any more, lol.

She loves Rockin Roller Coaster, Hulk at Universal, Manta at Sea World and all the coasters at Busch Gardens...she's a coaster freak, just not a drop-me-13-stories-to-the-ground type of girl.

Yeah, I LOVE coasters myself- but I usually pass on Shiekra at BG. I ride it ocassionally (like once a year) and that is quite enough! LOL!

Just wanted to say hi. My plans are all set. I will fly on the red eye from seattle and arrive in onlando in the morning. I will be going to magic kingdom. I plan on spending the hole day there. I'm so looking foward to meting every one. We have gotten so much rain here that we are on flood watch. Around here weather can really get crazy. See you real soon

Janet and I are going to make the two day drive. Not sure when we are leaving as I still am not sure if we will have much $$$. We want to talk with a Realtor about buying a house. Would love to add a stay and the parks in there but I just do not think it will happen this time.

Hope to be in Florida in about six years. Got stuff to do at home so we will get the most out of our current house and can buy a new one. Only 5 more winters in the midwest. Today I am thankful for the mild winter we have had this year.

I have been subscribing to threads about Eastern Excursions, as I know the time to book those will be here before I know it!

We are still in the midst of our renovation (removing wallpaper in 90% of the house), so most of my time is spent on that and HOPING that we are done soon before softball/baseball starts and I don't have any more full weekends.

I am thinking of making a video of the kids once we are done with the renovation (as a play on the Superbowl) and telling them..."now that we are done with renovating the house, what are we going to do? We are going on a DISNEY CRUISE!!!!" to see their reaction. I also have DCL t-shirts that I got at the Disney Store to give to them when we do tell them.

Cute idea with the "Superbowl" video! I don't know how you've been able to keep the secret...I would've let the cat out of the bag months ago! LOL!

Good luck with the wallpaper removal. We are starting our bedroom makeover. Sold most of our furniture already. Getting all new furniture, a new bed (King!), painting (trying to decide on a color is a pain!), the whole nine yards. I am determined to make our bedroom a place to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Right now it is the "catch-all" room...you know, laundry everywhere, bags thrown in corners, etc.

The two non stop flights on Saturday to Ohio are 11:50 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Would we be cutting it too close to book the morning flight?

I think you will have enough time. It's a 45 minute drive from PC and then the TSA wants passnagers at the airport 2 hours before flight. I have the 1:30 flight. I'm so excited My DBF just got me a steam boat willie watch for the cruise. Check out the facebook page i posted a pic of there and also have a pic of my FE and formal dress. see you real soon

We have done a return flight around this time as well, and had no issues. However, we didn't use DCL transportation, so I can't comment on how easily that will fit into the timing.

We did a car service, were picked up at port at 8:30 and headed to the airport. There are typically pretty long lines at security at MCO, but they move fairly fast and we had plenty of time to grab something to eat and had to wait before boarding.

With DCL, I don't know if you can pick your departure time or if they wait for a bus to be full, so maybe someone else can chime in on that.

I'm trying to catch up on all my DCL reading (anything to avoid working). I'm only on Page 27, but realized that you need more information for the Roll Call. For my group, the majority of us are from the St. Louis area, and my cousin is in Knoxville, TN. We'll all 8 be in main dining, and I'm in cabin 7069. Not sure where everyone else will be. Before the cruise, Jamie and I are going to be staying at the Polynesian on Thursday and Friday before. I really hope we get to do a MNSSHP, but we'll see. I'm enjoying catching up with everyone even though at this point, I'm just reading. I'll catch up eventually.

I hear you. I think we are going to do the later flight this time as well. I'm just waiting for my JetBlue points from my AmEx to post to my account as then I will have enough for TWO free flights!
