This will be our first cruise so i'm checking up on the ports.. I came across Dengue Fever info! Scary stuff! I admit i'm a little worried...

To all of you who have traveled or cruise in the Caribbean before, are you worried?

I will admit, I have no idea what Dengue Fever is...guess I will have to google it!

We cruised the Western itinerary in 2010 with no worries....

I just looked at the CDC map for Dengue Fever and I don't see any reportings at the islands we will be visiting.

Thanks for checking. I checked too, there are no outbreaks now but still many cases reported in the Caribbean. It's made me a little uneasy after ready up on it. Especially for my little ones. I will be bringing bug repellent for sure!

Trying not to let this scared me too much, I want to enjoy our first cruise. I have to stop reading up on it! lol

Yes stop researching!! I've been to both stops previously and left there as healthy as I arrived. They are beautiful places that should be enjoyed. Seriously, you can be exposed to many things in your own neighborhood. Relax!! You're going to have a fabulous time!!!!

Just got an update to my "Ship Mate" app on my Droid....it finally has the Fantasy!

The horn is just a fog horn noise (its the real horn on the iphone, so I've heard), but excited that I can finally "explore the ship" from my phone!

I am organizing a Stateroom Tour on Sunday September 23rd (our 1st day at sea) at around 10:00 a.m. I organized this stateroom tour on my last cruise back in October 2010, and it was very successful. So I would like to try it again.

My goal is to tour all the different staterooms. If you are interested in "opening" your stateroom for a tour, Please PM with your stateroom number, the type of stateroom you have, and the location (bow, mid-ship, stern, port or starboard). If you just want to take a tour, I need a PM with the number of people in your family taking the tour.

I will need to make a limit of about 40-45 for this tour

OK, here's what I need: The two Inside Staterooms: standard and deluxe, The Oceanview (one with a porthole): standard and family, Oceanview with a Navigators Veranda, a standard stateroom with a veranda, the Family Stateroom with veranda, a stateroom with adjoining rooms, a Concierge Family Stateroom with veranda, and a 1 Bedroom Suite Stateroom

***Yes, we will be touring the Royal Suite as our Grand Finale, thanks to Mouseears1!!

I did a search on ShipMate DCL and found the Disney version. Good luck!

Just returned from a week in San Diego, all rested up and ready to catch up on the boards and start planning for the cruise. I have booked our flight for the 22nd! $114 with Airtran, could not pass it up, now to wait on a return flight, (or not - I could just stay in my happy place)

Still keeping the surprise, but it is getting tough!

i'm so excited i just got my air. Had to pay a bit more but i will be comming in on Friday morning instead of Friday evening. I will be going out to one of the disney parks and if MNSSHP is going on then i will go. Two hundred and twenity eigh more days. I just can't belive i wlll be meeting all you. SEE YA REAL SOON

We'll be staying at BWV prior to the cruise.

I will be going out to at least Magic Kingdom mabey disney stuidos it depends on if MK will have MNSSHP so just have to waite until sometime in may. so looking foward to meeting my fellow cruisers until then see you real soon

We'll also be in DW before. I think we're arriving Wednesday. The kids don't know yet. Planning to MNSSHP, but maybe no other parks. Right now, we're staying at BCV, but hope to switch at 7 months to Animal Kingdom if we can get savannah view, or BWV.

Tuesday -- arrive at BWV 10 am / swim / MNSSHP
Wednesday -- no plans, maybe DtD
Thursday -- DHS/AK/Epcot parks all day
Friday -- Pirate Adventure for DD / swim / MNSSHP
Saturday -- ~*~ Fantasy ~*~
