Well, now that we only have 45 DAYS to the cruise, what else should we be doing right now besides daydreaming of what we will be doing in
45 DAYS?!?!?!

Help! I can't keep myself from purchasing more clothes. I am a huge on-line shopper. So maybe I should do this - But I'm not sure if Steve would go for that. I would say to take away my credit cards, but I know my Disney Visa card number by heart. YIKES! I have a problem. Maybe I will get out to Wal-Mart this week and start shopping for all my toiletries for the cruise. This will appease my spending, while getting things that are necessary. Work is so slow right now with major vacations going on at the Big Yellow (CAT Tractor Co.) that I have too much time on my hands. I think that there is a song about that ...... "I've got too much time on my hands....."

I'm not a great on-line clothes shopper - I've had my share of ill-fitting disasters in the past so tend to blitz the stores every now and again. Once I'm on top of everything here, I'll get out there...

TBH I'm somewhat distracted at the moment as our DD has moved back in for a few weeks. Her DBF is in Africa as part of his degree in medicine and she wasn't enjoying being 'home alone' so she's come back to us. She's currently installed in her elder brother's room but he returns on Friday! Sooo I've got to sort out the spare room which is piled high with junk. Aaargh!!!

Hi guys. Went to the airport to pick up Stacey and Katie this morning. They were supposed to leave boston last night at 7:20 pm. They didn't get out until 10:10. Arrived at Charlotte at midnight. Their connecting flight had left 2 hours earlier. They spent the night in the airport and left on the first flight this morning. It was delayed an hour. Moral, don't fly US Airways, and if you are traveling by your own air arrangements to Florida for the cruise, you might consider going down a day early to make sure that you get there. Mike

My TA is staying in concierge on the same cruise. So I am going to bring a Bow. Order a bunch of stuff from Concierge. Put the Bow on it. Then place it in my stateroom.

I haven't posted on this thread for quite a long time but I have been reading all of the postings up to current date. You all sound so fun! I was wonder how difficult it was to order your basket, etc... I know that we got some info in the mail regarding ordering baskets for your room but I still wasn't sure what was involved; would you give me the skinny on what you had to do to order? Thanks.

Maybe back in my younger days we could have made a surprise, but now we both have been tutored Three Smiths, keep that foolishness up and soon you will not have a place to dine at the table for all the little ones. Mike

I'm happy to say I made it through the press confrence just fine. I did have a brief moment of fear as I looked out into the SEA of cameras and reporters. ...but I kept focus (the best I could) and 'read' my speach the best I could. I really didn't have much time to prepair because they called me just before we were heading out the door to tell me what I'd even be talking about....So I spent the drive (2hrs) jotting my thoughts down. Once I was up there I SOOOO wished I'd had time to type it up because for the most part I couldn't even read my own handwritting. I did manage to bring tears to many eyes....so I think I got my point across on how important this is. Anyways...I did it We had Sydney's regular check up at Children's Hospital on Tuesday ....and all went SUPER good there. YEA.

I was also going to say Stacy.....I think Sydney and Kaylee will be having a blast this time around....between webkinz and HSM...it sounds like they have quite alot in common. I'm planning a HSM 2 Premier party for her as well We'll have to swap some party ideas. I don't have any yet but if/when I come up with something I'll shoot it over to you.

I'm going to try and come up with some thing for Jesse's mom during the cruise. It'll be her birthday....so I think something special is in order. I'd also like to order the romance basket for Jesse and myself I've been planning doing that...but havne't gotten around to actually calling yet.

It's pretty painless. You can order things directly from DCL. Here is the link to check out what they have to offer:

There is a 1-800 number provided to call and order what you like. Just have the item number ready and a credit card. They do charge you now. I asked them how far in advance to call and they suggested about 30 days out. I called at 45 days. But you could actually call up to a few days out. But they said at 30 days they still have enough time to order items if they are low.

You can also order baskets from The Perfect Gift. But I have never done that. The Perfect Gift is owned by a woman named Shirely who is a regular on the cruise board. Her staff can design a custom gift basket for you. If you are interested, you will need to ask on the cruise board about it. I don't have the website anymore. Maybe someone else here does.
