Nice photos Papa :goodvibes

Staples...I think were safe. We don't have any plans to stop by Staples before the cruise....But I guess after if we really want to meet some people we could aways put them back on and head to the store :goodvibes

Oh Boy! 8 weeks from today I will be in Florida checking into the Radisson for the night.

I know a few of you are going to WDW after the cruise. Remember that the Food and Wine Festival begins that very day. If you are interested in what special events will be offered, go over to the Restaurant Board. There is a thread over there that is covering the events. We have an inside mole at WDW that is giving us the skinny before the information is released. The information is not suppose to be released until Aug. 3 and reservations begin Aug. 6. We might do one or two of the Food and Wine Pairings. After all the food on the ship I don't know if I am ready to commit to much more than that.

Here's a link if you want to take a peek: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1510530

Guys we are so looking forward to meeting you all and having a great cruise.

The seas are calling to all of us. To wake up in the morning and go onto your verandah or outer decks with a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage is what we are looking forward to. Just to be on the ocean and headed toward an exotic port of call makes the waiting worth it. Mike

Well I have made a whopping $60 in my garage sale.
Paid for those Postcard shirts anyways.

Anyone need kids toys?

shhhhhhh don't tell the IRS. $60 equals 6 trips for both of you to Palo's. Mike

I think we might have to rattle some of our MIA's that havent posted in a long time.
We really do have alot of Diser's going with us... the more the merrier, and more blackmail pics to take!:lmao:

Ann:rolleyes1

Mike,

Believe it or not I have not been to Palo's. :scared1:
Doesn't look good this trip either.

We recently have had a lot of issues with new allergies with DD.
Ended up in ER for one recently.
Things she has eaten for years. Well she is 4 so a good 2 years suddenly are
giving her issues.

So we are being paranoid over protective parents. :sad2:

Perhaps you can sneak some Crab Legs down I hear they are good.

Ann I see that you are familiar with some of our 11 day cruise mates, Pretty in Tink, Wino Tracy, Hygiene 99 and others. Peter and Tracy have been on some of the Cruisetoberfest cruises also. Just remembered where we packed our bubba mugs from the 11 day cruise. Mike

Chris hope that your DD is better. They are the heart and soul of us and the reason we live. Mike

I met Tracy on the EB Repo in the laundry room. She and Jen were talking to me about the 11 day cruise. Dh and I were going to be on the first 11 day in the Med. But....the long story fits here___________________.
Now we're here. And we're doing the special 5 day next Sept.

I cant wait to meet all of them. They seem to be wonderful people.
I have to wait 1 cruise at a time... excited to meet everyone on this cruise.

Ann :)

Chris, sorry to hear about DD allergies.Parents have to be worried about the kids... who else will ? What foods is she allergic to?
Crab legs huh??? Let me see what I can do.:thumbsup2

Mine are molds, spores and plants and the favorite... dust mites. I have to wait till after the cruise to stat the shots. Man... I hit the big 50 and I started falling apart:scared1: Then I turned into a whimp. :rotfl2:

Fat Cat....I know you can't help but be worried...BUT going to Palo shouldn't mean you can't monitor what your DD eats. Just schedule your Palo durring a time that you can feed your DD before you go...then take her to the kids club. I'm not 100% sure but I don't 'think' the kids eat anything in the clubs. They do take them to dinner earler in the evening....but if you know when that is you can pick her up to make sure she doesn't end up eating with them. You can also make a note of it when you register her in the club. Anyways...I just wanted to say that there is plenty of time during the day to do Palo...and get the kids fed (either from Room services, the dinning rooms or up on deck). :goodvibes

FatCat, I agree with scrapperjill. If you have early seating, take your children to dinner and then to the club after. You can then head off to dinner at Palo. Or maybe brunch would be easier. Just take them to the club after breakfast. I think that Palo has a 10:00 brunch. Make sure to let the club know that your children are not to be fed at the club. I'm sure you can work it out somehow.

The Palo brunch is served on the at sea days, Monday and Thursday I think for us. Like Ann and Sandi say, take the little ones to early dinner, and then enjoy yourselves at Palo's while they are in the club.

You know when you are getting old Ann, when your medicines have to be taken onboard in a gallon ziplock bag:lmao:

Cathy, Art , Kathy and I are exploring other cruise lines that depart from port canaveral. We love Disney, and have done 7 cruises with them, but they are just getting too expensive. Love the idea of cruising from port canaveral and then going to Walt Disney World after the cruise. Mike

You mean you found us on page 2 again??? :scared1:

With so little time till the cruise... we should be chattier then that!:hyper2:

guess that everyone is busy Ann.:confused3 Mike

:goodvibes Just stopping in to say HI :woohoo: One more day closer to cruise day:yay: ...

It seems like over the weekends everyone is off doing something and away from their computer. I know I've been BUSY lately and away quite a bit....hopefully as the days go by we'll get more cruisers and have more chatting.

SO....So far we have a scheduled meet on the day we board...at 3pm by the Mickey pool (On the side oppisite the slide). There we'll meet, mingle maybe have a drink (or two) and hopefully get a group photo. I don't think we've decided where to do the pic yet....I'd like to say lets just wing it once were there but the planner in me says "NO...go prepaird". I must say that at least having an idea may be a good idea so we don't end up spending a huge amount of time going over things then. I'm still leaning towards either everyone line up the stairs and have the photo taken from the Mickey pool...up the stairs. OR every group together at the area along side the Mickey pool...and have the pic taken from above looking down on us. Anyone have any other ideas that we can compile to gether then take a vote on???

We also have the Margarita Monday thing set up....that everyone who's intrested will need to sign up for. NOW....one question I have about that is...Do we know for sure it's on Monday??? OR are we just signing up for the Margarita tasting on which ever day it's offered??? I've never looked into the tastings before....SO are these things ofered more than once during the cruise and/or are they ofered at diffrent times on the same day???

I know there was some talk about some other meets....but I don't believe anything else has been decided on....am I wrong?? I know from past experience we've gotten so busy after day one on the ship that we never ended up making it to any other planned meets...even though we had the best intentions to do so. :sad2: Even though we didn't make it to any other offical meets it was nice being able to at least attend that first one so we were able to put a face to a username:hippie:.....and through out the rest of the cruise when we'd run across someone here or there we'd know who they were. We also had quite a few unoffical meets that happened on our first cruise (with American scrapper and threesmiths)...and now look at us. We're on our thrid cruise together :grouphug: :flower3:

Anywho....was there anything (meets...get togethers) that any one had in mind for through out the week??? We're getting down to the final time to get things planned :rolleyes1

About the meet and photo... we could get one of the photgraphers from the ship to do it and everyone could buy one.
The stairs make a good location and for stagering people, and families with kids at the bottom, so the kids dont get lost.
There is my 2 cents worth.:goodvibes
