September 22, 2007 -- WESTERN

Good to have you sailing with us again Vickie. Mike

I'm not sure BUT I think they put someting in the food that makes you want to cruise DCL again, again, and again. The 11 day was just the best cruise for me and DH so far.

Definitely thinking of having some "stuff" pre-packed in a "cruise suitcase" that is just for the cruise and then would only have to gather the formal stuff and clothes that wrinkle easily. Just in case I win the lottery ... like that will ever happen!

Hi All ..we just got back from three great weeks at Disney. We were on the Sept 09 western cruise. We had a wonderfull time. While on the cruise we booked the Sept 15 eastern and the Sept 22 cruise. My husband Jean-marc (jm) and I (sharon) have only cruised Disney..too afraid to be disapointed with another cruiseline.Someday we will take the plunge..but for now we love our Disney ship!! A year is along way off.. BUT...some of the best parts of a trip is the planning and dreaming...

Welcome aboard Sharon looking forward to meeting all of the new dis members that will be on this cruise. Mike

Gald to see were getting more cruisers...I'm guessing from here on out...we'll have a good number of people joining us.

I tryed and tryed..to talk DH into booking a back to back cruise this go around...but he was not budging. :guilty: He's even cut out our days at WDW :confused3 ...but I guess he does have a point...our oldest daughter will be going into the 9th grade and our youngest will be going into the 4th grade...SO for our oldest it's getting harder and harder to miss school. I'm thinking maybe if I'm going to want to do a b2b cruise I'm going to have to start going during summer vacation time...which is NOT something I want to do (bigger crowds and higher prices)

This will be our first back to back cruise. It took us 20 years to get to this point. Our kids are 19 plus and love it when we leave!! When the gang was younger there was no way we could have pulled it off..sharon

One of these days the wife and I would like to take a back to back cruise. Kids seem to need to borrow money all the time though :rotfl2: Mike

Another day closer to our cruise and all the adventures that await. Mike

We too booked while on board the 11 day. Glad to see we will have somewhat of an alumni cruise!!! Papa, Kister and @Goofynut. Let's see who else we can wrangle. I know Capn Crash will be onboard the week before!

Best friends: Matt, Alyson, Christoher (will turn 6 on board) and Madelyn (3)

An as far as I know now: My parents, Matts parents and sister and Alysons parents are coming too!!

We are a big crew.....

Can't wait.

Welcome to everyone who has joined our group! I am so looking forward to this trip. This will be our 4th cruise (3rd 7 night). We are with Scrapperjill's group, never made it to the the Western Carribean although we booked it both times before. Hopefully the third time is a charm!! :thumbsup2 2canadianfans, I may have to hit you up for some coffeecrisps when we sail!! They are my alltime favorite candy bar! Since I have not been back to Canada in a very long time, I either have to resort to bribing family members who are traveling there or splurge while at the World. :teeth:

Mini Coffee Crisps!! Oh My!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! :) They would be gone in my house before Halloween!

Yes papa - chocolate bars are good, but these coffee crisps are wonderful! At least I think so, and I don't like coffee. My kids like them too. When I got them last time they were limited to just a half a bar each. The rest were mine! LOL!!

Kathy, our daughter gets our grand daughter mocha frappachino's (decaf)from starbucks. I will have to try and locate some coffee crisps and give them a try. Mike

Located the coffee crisps online. Here is the link to the website. CoffeeCrisps Will look for them in my area. Mike

Hi all!

We are just home from the a week plus at WDW and then the Magic Eastern Cruise last week. While on board we signed up for this one...and imagine my surprise to see ScrapperJill on board for this one too (I never check future boards until I sign up!). Our dd's hung out together on our non-Western/non-Eastern cruise two years ago. And last year we ran into them at MNSSHP at WDW before their next cruise diversion (and we were only there for the weekend!).

This will be our 5th Disney Cruise. The one last week was the first time we ever made it to the scheduled ports! We have been to Grand Cayman and Cozumel (and Costa Maya - on our rescheduled Eastern from 2005), but not to Key West (though we vacationed there when I was a child). We prefer the Western and hope to see those ports again.

This time it will be me, dh, dd 13 and ds 9 (ages at cruising). We are also DVC members (got my coveted DVC/DCL towel on the cruise last week!).

I look forward to meeting others and enjoying our next sail away! pirate:
