September 22, 2007 -- WESTERN

Raining here again this morning, anyone know any good ark builders??

Hope that everyone is having a great day. I think that we will skip the stingray tours in Grand Cayman, as we have done it before. Maybe just some snorkling and beach time. Mike

Today looks like a monsoon here ... rainy, rainy, rainy. Oh well I guess they all can't be like a day at CASAWAY Cay :beach:

From an earlier thread here on dcl forum, here is a link to find out where your favorite cruise ship is today. You and also clink on the port or ship cam to see a picture.

Cruise Ship Calendar

Only 337 more days  :cheer2: :lmao: Mike

Where is everyone?

Call me carzy BUT as I unpack from my last 11 day DIS cruise, I'm re-packing for this 7 day DCL with "stuff" that I really just use while cruising. That way when I win the lottery :rotfl: I'm ready to go again!

Just put the bags in the storage barn yesterday. If we hit the lottery them suckers are coming back out so fast it will make your head spin. Mike

Looking forward to having my picture taken at the southern most point of land marker there in Key West. Hopefully there will be stuff open for us to do on the Sunday that we are in port. Mike

Me too!!! I've been waiting since 2004 to go to the most southern point in Key West....and again I can't wait until we get there. :cool1: Kinda sucks for the others in our group  because our family has been trying for many years now to do the Western....so we pertty much know exactly what were wanting to do at each of the ports. :teeth: I figure....there's alway room for change so if we do come up with something that hasn't been on our plans the past couple years we may do it instead. :thumbsup2

We did the stingray city tour the last time we were in Grand Cayman. Have done the island tour and been to hell. Maybe a good snorkeling tour is in the cards. Mike

This thread is kind of on the quiet side. Little activity. Mike

I know  But I think it's because the cruise seems so far away to alot of people. I know I've TRYED to get those who are cruising with us (from town...not you Kathy :goodvibes ) to take a peak and say hello....but so far nobodys taking me up on it....except Kim (but she's been gone for a while due to internect connection problems).

Anyhow...I think the closer we get the more active everyone else will become.

Myself...I can't stop thinking about it. So far it's almost been a YEAR since we booked it :teeth: What I've really been thinking about is trying to talk DH into taking a few days at WDW before or after the cruise :thumbsup2 We went for two days before our last cruise...and I LOVED it. It was our VERY first time at WDW...and I want to back sooooo bad. Anyhow...I've been trying to slowly talk him into it..but with the timing of the cruise and the fact that the girls will have to be taken out of school for even longer....it's a hard one to talk him into. Any suggestion? I know if they come out with the free dinning during that time (again)...I'll really push to go. But I'm thinking if they are having the free dinning....I may not have to try as hard to talk him into it. We payed for the dinning plan last year and LOVED it...it was AWESOME...so if it's free ;) I'll make it that much easer for me. Only I'm thinking I'm going to have to wait until April to find out.

Anyhow...I'm here!!! Sometime I just don't have alot to say. Then other times ya can't shut me up :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Just trying to move us closer to the top ... cause (call me wierd) but I go  when I can't find the thread!

Just when you can't find the thread, Cathy? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Hope that Art gets his wipers fixed soon. Mike

Sharon the recipe is simple.

A yellow sheet cake baked, and then while it is cooling take a wooden spoon handle and poke some holes in it. Then fix a package of instant vanilla pudding and pour over the cake before the pudding sets. Slice a package of fresh strawberries and spread over the cake and pudding. Then put some sliced bananas over the berries along with a can of drained crushed pineapple. Top with a tub of cool whip and enjoy. It is even better the second day. Mike

Mike..thanks for the recipe..(easy just the way I like it). Will make it.Just was given a recipe for Keylime-CoconutCream pie.The hardest part of this past cruise is coming down from the GREAT food high ! Cant get in to my "Lose weight for the cruise" mode yet !!!!...sharon

:lmao: Do you think DIS will put that cake on the desert bar? Geez I'd hope so ....... No wonder we need maternity pants by the end of the cruise!

Some of us need them before the cruise including me :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ship ahoy everyone! :wave2: DH and I are hoping to join the cruise to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary - just waiting to get confirmation from the travel agent. I had my first taste of cruising Disney-style on the Wonder last year with DD - this will be DH's first experience. We only decided this afternoon to go for it so I'm feeling very excited! :cheer2:
