I also have looked at the new discounts this morning. We booked Free Dining in January for 9/8-9/14 at ASMusic. We toyed with the idea of bumping to a moderate, but decided not to since we're commando-ing the parks this time. Just for fun, I checked this morning to see if we still could.

I can't find ANY moderate available for our dates with FD. The cost difference to switch to a RO/or other package discount doesn't make it worth having to pay for our food out of pocket. I'm totally fine to stay where we are, but it's so weird that they've dropped this discount and I can't find ANYTHING available. There are non-FD discounts/rooms available, but not much.

I think Disney only released a few rooms at each resort with the hopes of Free Dining to lure people into even consider coming to Disney this fall, LOL.

Me too! I did the exact same thing, and the new deal would be more expensive AND would only be quick-service, so we'd still have to pay for table-service OOP or upgrade to deluxe. Disney likes to tempt us with last-minute deals like this, but it's usually not as economical as booking early!

Yup. My current trip with one less day of park hopper tickets would cost me $300 more. Glad I booked early.

Sept 8-14 - BWV

Its getting so close! We received our MB a couple weeks ago. I upgraded and they shipped right away.

52 days-14 hours-31 minutes until we leave for Disney!!
It will be my boyfriend's very first trip and he's kind of a scrooge mcduck about it. . . because "Disney is for kids"... So everyone pray for pixie dust to sprinkle his cold heart before we go.
At least the kids are excited ..

This is so my husband!! I'm really hoping though that once he sees the looks on my kids faces that will be enough for him to love it.

Free dining not available for that time but I don’t think it is going to be as busy as they are thinking. Maybe I am wrong. I just think Disney is hoping Skyliner opening and Illuminations ending, they will fill resorts. I honestly wonder if they held back availability. Now when I look at that time frame, there is so little available and most are the more expensive catagories in each resort. Glad I booked with Sun and Fun. They are trying to pull a fast one on everyone.

70 days now until my trip! I’m getting more and more excited to go back. I’m still not sure what to expect with Galaxy’s Edge being open just three weeks and Illuminations ending while we’re there. Just going to go with the flow and enjoy it the best we can.

I'm hoping he agrees to a second trip after this! He's convinced Disney is just a really expensive Six Flags.

The website has been SO FUNKY the last 2 days thanks to the discounts, so I think it was glitching for you. We're going similar dates (9/28-10/4) and there's still 22 resorts with availability. Still crossing my fingers for low crowds!

Guys! Skyliner opens 9/29! That may not help the majority of you, but I'm excited as we arrive to POP on 9/28!!!

Disney barely released any rooms under any of the promotions; its slim pickings all around and yes, 90% of the time the discounts are increasing guest cost! Not your best promotions Disney. @Cynt I know it's annoying, we're getting the same thing on the TA line. It usually goes away 2-3 days after the release day!@
