September 2015 Countdown!

I completely agree. Im so mad I didnt try these 40 years ago! A couple of trips ago, we went to Crystal Palace for breakfast. My daughter got the waffle, but didnt finish the last bite. It just sat there on her plate while we were waiting for a character to come to our table. Out of boredom, I reached my fork over and ate that bite! OMG! I sprinted to the buffet station and got my own! Ive been hooked ever since. I only get waffles at Disney! No place else compares.
I'm pretty sure DH and I had Mickey waffles nearly every day for breakfast during our last trip. We're pretty much going to do the same thing again this trip. I agree! There's nothing quite like waffles at Disney! I really can't wait to try the chocolate lovers waffles during our stay at WL! That is my kind of waffle!

Those chocolate waffles are the bomb.com!:love::love:

I ended up cancelling our Chef Mickey's ADR for our last day. I decided it just wasn't going to be worth the price and we'll have delicious Mickey waffles for breakfast like always at WL. Those things are the BEST! I'm also so glad DH was ok with cancelling our 50's Prime Time Cafe ADR. I was not looking forward to that one. I'm so socially awkward and like being left alone when I eat. :sad2:

That's a great accomplishment! DH says he'll start packing Monday after he does like 5 loads of laundry. :scared1: I need to do laundry too so I don't have to worry about it when we get back. Luckily I don't have nearly as much to do as DH.

I know you probably don't want to add it back, but they didn't bug us at all, when we ate there. I think, for the most part, they're pretty good at reading a crowd.

I need to start packing. I really prefer going in the winter, because then all the summer clothes are clean and set aside. I'll probably have to wash everything we need for this trip the day before, and pack at the last minute.
Also, I just scheduled family pictures for the end of September, so I need to get outfits picked out for that.

Talk about last minute packing..ha! In 5 days I'll be leaving bright and early for the airport; have I yet to pack?

We leave in 11, officially started packing today!

Add me to the list that can officially say we are going NEXT WEEK now! Completely packed and ready to go!
The first in our group are headed out! It's so exciting!! Can't wait to hear about your trips and here's a boatload of pixie dust to take along with you! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Bringing out the suitcases this weekend to begin packing for the first leg of our Florida trip next Thursday. We are in the process of gathering up miscellaneous items to bring into a spare bedroom. Guess I will have to start getting those things in a suitcase too. Love this section because it has everyone who is going in September, just like us!

Me too! How much fun is it to say that you're going next week? It hardly feels real!

I can't believe it's already time to be heading out. It seems like just yesterday I was waiting for my magic bands to arrive! I pulled out the suitcases today, and will begin packing tonight, can't procrastinate too much longer as I only have 3 more days to pack before getting up super early for my flight!:yay:

I miss my spare bedroom :) I have three kids, 24, 21 and 11. Had a good 10 years with a spare, then the daughter came :). Now, sadly, its the dining room table. Piles of clothes nobody can wear or touch until after the trip!!!

I love the "nobody can touch" as we have our piles out in the spare room as well. The only problem is now I have no clothes to wear. I have 2 pairs of shorts not designated to the trip. Thank goodness I wear dress clothes for work during the week.

I see on the recreation calander that one of the paid events is making a Mickey Tie Dye shirt. Is anyone familiar with this? How much does this cost and what size tee shirts do they provide? Do you have to bring your own?

:scared: I'm checking the forecast for our trip...and today it's "only" 89, but feels like 117!!!
Rain I can handle (lived through Monsoon season in Korea twice)...but that much heat & humidity....
Please tell me I'm making the right decision going in September???

Otherwise...I set up our grocery delivery (48 bottles of water for 2 adults and 2 kids). MagicBands came in last week.
Now I just need to make some kind of binder for our Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom cards.
DS is going to be sooo excited.
Do you have a silhouette cameo? Iade the most awesome binder for my boys!

That's not so last minute. I was packing up the day of my flight. I had created quite the scary pile in my room. I had to play a game of tetris to fit everything in so I could close it! :rotfl2:

I leave in 18 days and I'm throwing things here and there into my suitcase.

Ah! Next week! Have fun!

It is loads of fun saying we'll be going to Disney World next week! Just 8 more days until we're in paradise! :goodvibes

Have fun!

I know! All the planning and then suddenly it's here! It's totally unreal.
We're going in less than 3 weeks, when we've been booked for almost a year!

We are going around the same time :goodvibes We booked 14 months, as soon as they announced the renewal of the military discount. I can't believe we're gonna make it!

I didn't even think of using the spare bedroom. It's sorta in shambles right now since my sister and niece left three weeks ago and my mom can't bear to clean it up, she still misses them. I think I'll clean it up for her as a surprise and then I can keep my suitcase and purchases in there for the time being.

Ah yes, the 'do not open until xx date'. I really don't have that much non work clothes to wear so I guess it is also a good thing that I have to dress business casual all week and wear my house clothes on Saturdays to do chores. I need to write up my packing list now that I think of it...
