Hi.
I have points left in my 2014 September UY as well as 2016 September UY.
I do not have any points left if 2015 (long story, I was regiven some 2014 after a DVC error). I have points in my September 2016 UY.

I would like to book a trip for second week of September 2015.
Can I use both the 2014 and 2016 September UY Points to book my September 2015 trip? Do I need to bank my 2014 points to do this first?
I am calling in February for my September trip.

Do it online, you can bank the points prior to your date then at 8AM Eastern go online and make your reservation.

Online you get an hour prior to the phones opening up plus you don't have to wait on hold for 30 minutes.

It is sort of what you say. If you call tell them, the first thing you want to tell them to do before making any reservation is to bank the 2014 points (which you must do by no later than April 30, 2015), and then you can reserve a trip between Sep 1, 2015, and Aug 31, 2016 by using the banked 2014 points and borrowing points from 2016, and they will use the banked points first before taking any borrowed points from 2016. As noted you can do that reservation on line but you must first bank those 2014 points which is an entirely separate transaction on line, done on a page of the website that is unrelated to the reservation pages.

This is what I will do.

I just printed out this thread and will do prior to my 7 month mark, which comes up next month.


We stayed at GFVs in a 2 bedroom in September and hoping to do the same again right after Labor Day and then used our points for the Dream.
As I am typing this, I wondering now how hard to get since we would be coming in on a Tuesday, wonder if I need to walk from a Saturday or Sunday?
