Just requested to join FB Group. We will be at POP 9/10-9/17. DH, DD 14, DS 12, DS 11, and Grandparents. Yay! My brain feels like it's going to explode trying to plan everything!

Currently I'm trying to decide if MNSSHP is worthwhile while we're there.

Absolutely can't wait!!! Just paid our balance in full and purchased MNSSHP tickets for 9/20!! 10 days in the world with lots of eating on the dxdp and online check-in is done!!

Now I can thoroughly enjoy our summer long reveal to our kids about this surprise trip!! They have no idea what all the fuss is about so far!

Have to get out my excitement here on the DIS so I don't drive my DH and coworkers absolutely crazy with all my Disney talk!!

A good friend told me yesterday that I was addicted to Disney (like that's a bad thing). I just tell them that everyone needs to escape life and work occasionally and WDW is my escape. 45 days

I want to encourage you to do MNSSHP. We've been to 3 and are planning to attend 9-14.
It is so much fun and IMO worth the cost!

If it's in the budget, I would suggest you going to MNSSHP. We went in 2006 and we all loved it. In fact, it was part of the reason for going when we are, and is the one thing my youngest DS is excited about for the trip. Instead of asking me, how many more days until our Disney trip, he asks how many days until MNSSHP.

The luggage tags have a red and orange background with Mickey. I'll upload a pic. Does everyone get a magicband or is it select guests? We didn't receive any magicbands with the Mickey Mail.

what luggage tags did you get? all I got was the yellow tags for DME

They are the ones you put on your bag with your contact info. We're going on DCL first so we didn't get DME tags, just the DCL tags. I do need to call Disney tomorrow because in the past there has been a voucher in the book that they scan when you take DME, this time it's not in there but we are taking DME from the resort to the airport.

I am at day 37 so I got it on day 40. I am in Canada so I don't know how much of a difference that is. It was delivered UPS

Thanks! Sounds like the ones we got in Feb. -!

As for the elusive magicband, we still don't know for sure who will be in the Sept. testing. In August, POP was included and people signed up online at MDE when prompted. They received their magicbands in a separate mailing in a box 17 days or so before travel.

DCL is Disney Cruise Line. You should have also received luggage tags in your Mickey Mail. I would call them and let them know you did not receive your luggage tags, that is if you want them. For instance, we already have tags on our bags with contact info in case they get lost but I prefer the Disney tags.
