Hello fellow Septemberers! I was recently told that you can't take any kind of beverages or snacks in the parks Is this true? DD DOES NOT drink pop or plain water. Can we bring her some juice boxes and fruit water and snacks? TIA!

Last night we played Disney's "Sing It" Family Hits on the Wii, we had so much fun! Even DS2 got into it, singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider to the video for the Cars song "Real Gone." What a great way to gear up for our trip in10 days! My rendition of "Can you feel the love tonight?" even got my kids to agree to watch the Lion King, which they both insist we turn off if it ever comes on the TV.

This is absolutely NOT true! We brought in lots of water and snacks. I also saw many people bringing in whole coolers of food for their lunches. No worries, you can bring in any food/drink you'd like... just nothing dangerous like guns and knives.

I remember someone was already thinking of a Nov/Dec trip, who was that? I mean we may very well have to skip a year again but a girl can dream

I assume you meant next year, but we're going this Dec. for 4 days to see the decorations and the candlelight processional. We have an AP and DVC so it will just be airfare and food. Who knows about next year yet but Disney is our obsession.

4 days from now I will be loading the luggage into the car and we will be on our way to the airport!

Last night we went to the inlaws and were discussing the BounceBack offer. I was told to book two rooms if we get this offer for next year at the Comtemporay in the tower! Ive never stayed deluxe before, so this is my first and we are going to book September 27-October 7th 2012. Super exciting! Best part is, they are treating! We really are so lucky, my parents wanted to take DS this year, and next year his other grandparents want to take him. Cant say no to free disney trips!

Its a free dining promotion (the last that Ive heard anyways). We would save more with a room discount being its a deluxe resort.. but we will take any type of discount we can. If something comes out better next year, we will change but the dining will save us a lot to start with!
