September 2011 - We are going to Disney World {THIS MONTH}! (Third Thread)

I'm SO excited for all of you that are leaving so soon! It already feels like we've been home forever. I can't wait to go back!!! It won't be for about two years though.

Your shirts look so cute in your avatar. You are experiencing your first Disney blues. Well, at least you have another trip to look forward to sometime in the future even if it's not for a couple years.

Hi all! We're supposed to leave on our complete surprise WDW trip on Sunday, 9/25 and I'm looking at weather sites and it looks like total rain the entire time?! I'm freaking out a little. we've always been so lucky with weather this time of year. Can this really happen or does anyone think it may rain on/off during the day but still see some sun? We were hoping to do a water park too...hoping it's warm enough!

Magic Kingdom was a mad house this afternoon we left right before a shower started came back to resort ate rested and are going back at it! The sun is out again an hopefully the crowds have thinned a little: honestly think today's crowd level was a little heavy for a supposed to be green day!

We are (finally) packed! I'll have to pack meds and electronics at the last minute, but everything else is finished. I have managed to get a lot accomplished in the first three days of my four day weekend. Now to just get through six more sleeps!

Magic Kingdom was a mad house this afternoon we left right before a shower started came back to resort ate rested and are going back at it! The sun is out again an hopefully the crowds have thinned a little: honestly think today's crowd level was a little heavy for a supposed to be green day!

The Lines app does show it's REALLY heavy traffic in the MK today, hopefully it eases up for you before you two make it back to the park!

And MamaJessie, I'll be looking for you in AK! Our TH ressies aren't until a little later on the 25th, but that's our first park stop of this trip. One week from now, we're waiting for RD, them running for EE. I can't believe it's almost time, it seems to be going really fast.

That is normal. DH lived there and says it rains once a day A LOT in the summer. He actually said every afternoon there is a thunderstorm that passes through quickly. Hope that's all we get!

Approx 3 hours and counting till the boys will be alsleep and we can move them to the car and head for WDW. Left work early so I could grab a little sleep before the long drive tonight. Told my boys that daddy got sick at work and had to come home. Moomy is tryong to get the boys finished with dinner and working on DS(9)'s spelling words since they both think they are going to school tommorrow. What really funny they are watching AFHV on ABC and they are on the DREAM and my DS(9) justed asked when we can go back to WDW and we told him we dont know little do they know whats in store for them tommorrow.Really cant wait for MNSSHP here are the costumes that my wife finished for the the party. DS(9) is hook ans DS(5) is Jake.[/FONT]

MamaJessie, I'll be the tall one with the dark brown crazy curly hair, with a super quiet guy (I talk enough for both of us, so it works out), a beautiful medium sized brunette, and a very tiny blond with a smile that would light up a dark room. The girls and I are all liable to be jumping all over the place, while Chris just kind of snickers us. My DH has apparently decided he wants to know our plans now. He asked me this morning on the way to church what the name of the hotel was, and what day we were leaving on! Apparently I should have added another day on, he would have been none the wiser! The girls know how much organizing I've done, but I guess he hasn't gotten a real taste of it yet. I figure he'll get the hint when I whip out my touring plans and ADR printouts!

That's so awesome, RobRees! Definitely try to get some rest, and I so hope your surprise goes off spectacularly! I love the doing homework part of the evening, nice touch!

Even if the Mk is a green day I try to avoid it on the weekends. I find it best to go to AK and Epcot on the weekends.

To everyone that is leaving soon have a great trip. Totally OT but my ticker just went under 11 months. LOL I feel like this thread is coming to a end soon. Seems like we have been threw alot together. I need to concentrate on paying off this trip a little every month. In the past we have used our tax refund but I think we are going to try payments monthly this year.

This thread is DEFINITELY slowing down. It's sad, because you guys have been amazing! The only threads I normally check are this one and the trip reports, so I hate that we'll not be chatting on here soon. I'm glad that we do have some that return to give us updates on what's going on, and that I'm likely to run into some DISers during our week, but I'll miss the ladies and gents in this group. It's a special bunch.
