In 48 hours from right now we will be getting off the plane in Orlando!!!!!!!!!!

so exciting to have everyone leaving soon... we can hardly wait...

Little off the trip countdown topic but was on the Disney Store website (fyi they have free shipping today - Labor Day Special) and does anyone know if the prices of costumes online are the same as in the parks or am I going to get a better deal ordering DD before we leave

OMG--THANK YOU for the tip about free shipping! I need to order my DD the Mary Poppins doll and you saved me some $$!

How am I supposed to get anything done for the next two weeks? All I want to do is obsessively DIS If they could combine this pic with this pic it is what I feel like.

This, totally. I need to go to bed earlier so I am better rested/feel better in general but my only time to do a lot of DISing is at night so it's hard!

Personally, I like TSM (not enough to wait 75 or 90 minutes) but it fun with the different games and the 4d. You really have to like competition and carnavel games because really that's all it is (in my opinion!) I like the interaction. I wish they would update BUZZ with the same technology I think that would even out crowds more and cut TSM wait times down. And while I Love BUZZ too, it is in need of a update! (Again my personal opinion!)

I totally agree with you. I used to love Buzz but after riding TSM and then riding BUZZ, Buzz just didn't seem as fun I will still ride it this trip but hoping for an update in the near future.

So everything is packed and now sitting in my hallway by the door. I keep going over my itinerary. I was even changing dining last night (forgot Nite of Joy was this weekend). Its so awesome alot of us will be there this week! When we get back I promise to load this thread up with lots of park pics of decorations and room windows and food porn!!! I'm so excited for all of you checkin in online and getting Mickey mail!! YAY!!!
Tomorrow morning by 11 am we will hearing "welcome home" and getting our KTTWC. Ahhhhh. How am I gonna sleep tonitte? I'm so excited. Its going to be the lognest 3 hour drive tomorrow EVER!
Off to the pool. The heat at the beach was too hot. TOday in So. Fla its currently 93 degrees. BTW: Zpack is Awesome feeling 100% better.

We will be there at about the same time, maybe will see you and say HI!!! We leave home Friday Night, and take a leasurely pace down and arrive sometime on Sunday. BTW I just got packed today myself!!!!

At the risk of being flamed, I have got to ask a question that no one on the DISboards seems to speak.... what the heck is so special about Toy Story Mania? I see on the Lines app that there is a massive wait for this ride every day, and all of the FPs are normally gone by noon. But, when I watched the YouTube ride video, I just kind of went, Is that it? The cue looks more interesting than the ride to me! Is it really good enough to send everyone at RD running for the back of the parK?

First of all, this thread is flame-proof! We all get along so well. Personally, I just love TSM. Everyone already explained and I pretty much agree. We usually go to rope drop, get a fast pass then get in line and ride. It's usually only a 20 minute wait or so. Then we go do ToT and RnR and use our fast pass for TSM and then get another one for later. I wouldn't wait in a long line for much of anything. And that's the beauty of going in September...you don't really have to! Try it...I think you'll like it.

I just have to share this, though, I know you all will understand: A friend of mine just got done moving and found her DS11's baby clothes. She dropped them off to me for DS2 in case I could use any of it. (He is still in 12-18mos clothing.) And I found the perfect outfit for AK! It looks like it hasn't even been worn! It's actually Disney brand, and although you can't see it in this pic, the tag next to the pocket on the shirt says "It's a small world after all"

Such a cute outfit! It's sometimes hard to find cool outfits for boys!

I love feeling like a kid in a room full of giant lincoln logs and monkeys in a barrel and candyland. Listen to me gush - such a complete sap I am (and showing my age). There isn't a toy there that I didn't play with.

I love them too! It's like a trip down memory lane and really makes the wait go so much faster. I'm always spotting something I missed before.

I know what you mean. I just did laundry today and began the packing. We leave in 3 days. But, I love packing last minute to savor the fact that it won't be long. Now the PLANNING has gone on since January! Hope to see you and I will be sure to say hello. Have a wonderful trip!​

I feel the same way!! And we go every year! I am so excited I can't concentrate on anything. I've been painting our newly finished basement walls and I'm playing Disney music in the background. It makes the time go by, but I want it to be NOW. You'll be paving the way for me a day ahead. I'm especially excited for all the first timers since it is just so magical to walk under the railroad and enter Main Street. As you make your way along Main Street, the smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls wafts your way and then, through the tears in your eyes, you see it, Cinderella's castle! Hey Walt, I'm home!!!
