3 DAY BANANA DANCE!!!!

In 3 days, right now, I will be driving to WDW!!!

Only 7 hours and 53 minutes left of work for today and then my vacation starts..... (if I don't leave early!);)

WOOT! WOOT! YAY!!!! :dance3:

I was at a BBQ yesterday, trying to explain to my friends why we are going to Disney again (#7!!) They look at me like I'm a quack, especially because of the age of my kids! We all love it. I told them that I consider Cinderella's castle to be my cottage, and many people go to the same cottage year after year and no one thinks that's strange. I may have been able to convince a few families to join me next August!!!!!!!!!!! It's alot easier leaving the land of pixie dust knowing when you're going to return! Last year when we left I didn't have this trip booked and I was really sad, I kept saying to my husband that I wondered if we'd ever return (that's before I realized it was the family cottage :rotfl2:

:rotfl: Good for you! I'm totally going ot use the Cinderella's castle is my cottage! :thumbsup2

Riding up on clouds....

:yay: :woohoo: In 48 hours from right now we will be getting off the plane in Orlando!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes :cloud9:

so exciting to have everyone leaving soon... we can hardly wait...

Little off the trip countdown topic but was on the Disney Store website (fyi they have free shipping today - Labor Day Special) and does anyone know if the prices of costumes online are the same as in the parks or am I going to get a better deal ordering DD before we leave

ME is the way we like to go. In fact front the moment you step into MCO there are little Disney touches (and a big ol' gift shop for souvies on the way home) that make you feel like you have arrived. Can't wait for the reports from all of the first timers.

I want to do the live. FB reports! :yay:I'm at work, and they've taken DIS away (ba$tards), so I can't PM from my iPhone. I will PM those of you doing the live reports so you know who I am!:rotfl:I'll be updating from the World as well, so PM me if you want me to add you. :cool1: That sounds like bookoo fun!

I'd love to stalk you all at WDW through Facebook :rotfl:

Feeling better today. Hubby and I were talking about a solo trip and then it hit us both at the same time :idea: His parents are going to be moving up here at the end of next year. that is going to be HUGE and is totally going to change the vacationing dynamic lol among other things. It's going to be so great to have them living so close for many reasons and for DD to have at least one set of grandparents in her life more often (more than a few weeks a year).

20 DAYS!!!!! :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

How am I supposed to get anything done for the next two weeks? All I want to do is obsessively DIS If they could combine this pic :surfweb: with this pic :yay: it is what I feel like.

Having great ILs, and having them close, is a true blessing. I hit the in-law jackpot when I married my DH. My MIL and I are super close, and there have been times when I don't know what we would have done without them close. I'll take all of the qualified help I can get, even with my girls in middle and high school! :hug:

No worries, sillylily, the wait times will be considerably less for us. Remember this is Labor Day Weekend. Last big hurrah, tons of locals etc. We have been a few times in Sept. and never waited more than 20 mins for any ride. Always getting a fastpass for big ticket rides (mostly coasters)! WITH the one exception of TSM. That was a 75 min. wait without fastpasses once. We had to do it and LOVED it. Next trip we planned accordingly and didn't have nearly the wait. Get there in the morning and grab a FP for late in the day. It's such a nolstalgic queue area (in a/c) and then you are inside the 3-D carnival game. It really is pretty cool. I love feeling like a kid in a room full of giant lincoln logs and monkeys in a barrel and candyland. Listen to me gush - such a complete sap I am (and showing my age). There isn't a toy there that I didn't play with.

I noticed that in the UT video, I got super nostalgic looking at the toys in line! :love: I played with all of those toys, too, back in our day before DS and iPod touch! :cool1:I will definitely be FPing TSM; we want to do it, but RnR has been the resounding first ride for DHS. I'm going to take a ton of pics in the queue!

Everybody is getting so close!! All of you in the single digits, have a FABULOUS trip, and please oh please report back when you return! I'm excited to hear how everybody's trip goes!

I can not believe how many of us are either in WDW as we speak or leaving today/tomorrow! Time is flying by and I get more and more excited as I type this knowing our day is not far off now! I also cant wait for the first September Dis'ers trip report!

We have 18 days to go and I have offically started my final packing list! Ive managed to get past DS birthday and his party so now its time to focus on vacation!! :woohoo: C'mon September 23rd!!!

:dance3::banana::dance3::banana::dance3:

We are all sooooooooo close and some of us already enjoying the World!

I did on-line check-in! Yeah! 10 days to go!

:dance3::banana::dance3::banana::dance3:

k. I will be sending some pm's for facebooking! at least I know you guys
understand. :rolleyes1

Ok, I have never done TSMM, are you in the queue for a lot of the wait? That might at least keep the 2 yos attention, who is the only one that might not handle lines well. Well, her and DH :rolleyes1

DH and I have rode TSM once, standby. I remember the line going by faster than listed on the wait times. I am planning on doing standby this trip with our DD 18months. I think the queue is PERFECT to keep a toddlers attention! The whole queue is things like giant playing cards, giant crayons, legos, candyland pieces, moneys in a barrel, a giant talking mr potatoe head. Tons of things to look at. Now a 75 minute wait might not work, but I would think 45 and under should be fine for my DD, who will watch about 15 of MMC on her own!

Personally, I like TSM (not enough to wait 75 or 90 minutes) but it fun with the different games and the 4d. You really have to like competition and carnavel games because really that's all it is (in my opinion!) I like the interaction. I wish they would update BUZZ with the same technology I think that would even out crowds more and cut TSM wait times down. And while I Love BUZZ too, it is in need of a update! (Again my personal opinion!)
