Thanks! I tried to do a couple surveys last night real quick, but I didn't "qualify" for them. I'll try again later. They already sent me a couple by email today as well, but I need to get to bed.....haven't been to bed yet since I got home from work at 830am!

What day do you sail on the Dream? We sail Sept. 8th! If I hear anything different about the photos on the ship, I'll let ya know. And if you get any concrete info let me know too, if you don't mind!

We sail Sept. 1st. We considered all the weekends in September, but Labor Day was just too tempting! Yeah, everything I'm reading is showing that PP is not available. Maybe before September?? I'll let you know if I hear anything!

No, not to my knowledge. All I've heard is that they rearranged Shutter (the photo shop on the ship) so that instead of printing out every single photo they take and randomly posting them on the wall for you to find, they are now using a computerized system and you will be able to find them all in one folder for your family. I think they are using the "faces" technology like Macintosh iPhoto offers, to "group" people together....starting with your "welcome aboard" photo that gets taken of each family when they are boarding. Shutters offers their own photo packages, but has never offered a CD.....at least not on my half dozen cruises.

Shutters offers a CD---if I remember a 7nt'er is 399 and 3/4 is a bit cheaper. I have never found enough for me to get the CD. My SLR takes fab photos and I like the packages....like a few 6x8's and 2 --8x10's. Unlike the photopass cd where you get the decroative disney borders...you do not get that with DCL...pics are plan on CD. Hope this helps. It was offered on our 2009 cruise!

Shutters offers a CD---if I remember a 7nt'er is 399 and 3/4 is a bit cheaper. I have never found enough for me to get the CD. My SLR takes fab photos and I like the packages....like a few 6x8's and 2 --8x10's. Do you know how the CD works? Can our extended family get all of our pics on one CD? I know with Photopass, you can add multiple PP cards to one account. Can you do something similar with cruise pictures?

if anyone wants to try opinion outpost for rewards pm me and I can email you a link so I can get referral points I can cash out for amazon credits after $5, a check after $20 or a citicard after $15. I usually do the amazon but have decided to save up for the citicard for vaca instead. Thought it was a neat option. You get about $1.50 - $4 per survey.

Per DIS rules you aren't allowed to ask for referrals...I've seen Mods get on people a lot for this type of thing...

Well I have never gotten the CD, however I have heard each stateroom gets their own, however if you have all of you in the boarding photo, the face recognition should put all in the photo with that group, but when you go around getting phot'os throughout the cruise and they scan ur KTW card--make sure to use one cabins and they should end up together. Remember what you get taken daily and go up nightly or in the morning and make sure you see all the photos in ur account. If not ask them to move them to one acct.

My husband and I are going to WDW Sept 16-22 and will be staying at Pop Century!

This is his first visit, and I haven't been since 1996 when I was 16. Can't wait to go!

I pretty much used to stalk the Shutters people as they were putting the photos out on the walls. I was always so anxious to see ours!!

Congrats! Sounds like you have it pretty well thought out! I haven't done the early breakfast at H&V yet, but have it booked for this trip hoping to get right over to TSM as well! Sounds like I'll be there before you (we are going the week of Labor Day) so I'll let you know how it worked out!

I took my husband on his first trip in 2007 with our DD2, it was so much fun! I too hadn't been since I was 16 (1991 for me!) and we couldn't wait to go back.

Photos of the new Mickey meet 'n' greet area. I wasn't interested in going to this since we'll be meeting him in other places but WOW! The themeing is amazing! My DH and I are interested in old style magician art like they referenced in the posters so we are definitely planning on visiting this if the wait time isn't too crazy. My favorite is the hidden icons of the 4 parks!

Thanks! Gonna check it out right now! I was thinking the same as you...we'll have many photo ops of Mickey at ADR's and on our cruise, but this might be worth checking out. Does anyone know if they relocated Minnie's house to another part of MK while Toon town is under construction? I remember some talk about possibly moving Mickey and Minnie's houses, but I wasn't sure if it actually happened. Mikella LOVES Minnie's house!! Last year she made me go through it at least 6 times!! She was just "hangin' out" in there like she was Minnie's BFF!!
